No gym day.....

Lost 1 kilo this week..... so only need to lose 800 grams to get to 20 kilos, so close yet so far....

No gym today, its my day off, and I am not going to lie, I am grateful for that, yesterday I was so tired and my body was so sore. 

Nails are starting to pick up again after Covid, so that will keep me busy today. 

Not a lot has happened, did nails - David came home not feeling well, did a covid test, negative so thats good.

Not a lot else to report, the weather has got hot again..... we are having an easy dinner, cheese and ham toasted sammies.

Day 50 WW Personal Plan.....

 Gym done and dusted, did cardio and some lower body stuff...... then I spent a few hours in the nail room, I had lost all motivation for nails, but slowly getting it back.

Food is the boring old same stuff, poached eggs on toast for breakfast, lunch usually some ham in a wrap, and dinner well I tend to repeat the same old 5 or 6 things.... not sure if I will bother tracking, I still weigh stuff to keep an eye on it. I try and point out my day like breakfast is 5 points, lunch is about 8-10 points max and dinner is about 10 points max. and then some snacks in between.

Oh yeah weigh day tomorrow - am just hoping on a loss :)

Day 49 WW Personal Plan......

Today is a gym day and did upper, pushed myself and upped my weights yay.....

Did my nails this afternoon, will upload a photo tomorrow. Have no idea where the day has gone, did heaps of little jobs that have been on my to do list for weeks, feels good, have to do taxes next week but that is easy, I am all organised for that :). 

Have not tracked today but pretty much have eaten what I eat most days, poached eggs on toast, didn't have lunch, had some feijoas, which were not quite ripe bugga - feijoas are my favourite fruit... dinner tonight is homemade wedges in the air-fryer, with some sour cream and bacon bits and either steak or sausages and some veggies. 

And on that note, I am out of here, catch you tomorrow :)

Day 46 WW Personal Plan...

Today I went to the gym and did cardio and a little bit of lower body. I then picked up the puppies from the groomers, they go every 6 weeks, they are nice and soft and fluffy. 



And another one off baby Isaac, first time at the beach..... and he loved it :)


I am feeling so tired today, not used to these 6.30am mornings lol. But I am sure my body will adjust :)

I cant believe, how my blood sugars have changed so much in just 6 weeks, never expected them to turn around so quick..... healthy eating most of the time does work - who would have known lol

Just had cheese on toast for lunch, I was craving it, but bloody hell 14 points for 50 grams of grated cheese and 2 bits of low carb toast. Wont be having that again in a hurry. But it was nice lol.

Day 44 WW Personal Plan....

Ok weigh in day today, so starting of on a nice clean week... I gained 1.3 Kilos over 2 weeks..... soo back down to needing 1.8 Kilos to lose my 20 Kilos. Am grateful that I am still in the 130's just lol. 

But today is a new week, so going to focus on one day at a time. No gym today, it is housework day.

It is raining and so muggy..... 

This morning had poached eggs on toast, about to start drinking my water. Dont really enjoy water but I do know how beneficial it is for me....

Lunch was low carb wraps with salad, so far going well..... water half way. 

Vagary have just released Part 2 of their Botanical collection, there was so much I wanted but narrowed my choice down to this one...... I love it :). They sell out so fast.


Water done and dusted phew.... I really struggle when the weather is not sunny, have had some heavy rain and the mugginess has gone. Tonights dinner is satay chicken kebabs with homemade fries and veggies, so think I today will end up being a success. Tomorrow morning is the gym again :)

I am going to change my weigh in day to Wednesday, Friday is not working for me, I tend to keep eating all weekend cause I dont need to weigh in till Friday, and then it just continues throughout the week. Day 42 WW Personal Plan...

Day 41 was another write off, but today I am really going to focus on everything, gym done, did upper body and boy my arms can feel it. 

9am and 700mls of water drunk already.....

And it is wet and not that warm, I dragged out the heater today, yet to turn it on though. I also got rid of the fans in the nail room and put the heater in there, think we can safely say Summer has gone, and I am not complaining lol. 

Man got home from the gym ready to watch Scott McLaughlin in the Indy Car race and missed the end, Sky didn't record the last bit, not sure if the race went longer or it cut out due to weather ggggrrrrrr.

Day 40 WW Personal Pan.....

 Yip today is another fail, we went to the Tauranga Farmers Market, and I got fudge as well as a brownie then had a Jesters Pie for lunch.......

So let's just write off today.... and try again tomorrow. I think my back should be fine for Monday for the gym, it is feeling heaps better today. 

I am also thinking of getting a swimming card concession, and go a couple of times a week.

I am also going to reward myself at 30 kilo's lost - with some wait for it Roller Skates.

Day 36 WW Personal Plan...

Isaac is down for an early nap, so going to make the most of it lol. The dogs also enjoy the peace and quiet lol. 

Well first sleep didn't last long, since then we have been for a walk, and now he is down for his second sleep. Really hope this will last longer than 15 minutes. He is learning to walk with his walker thing...... I think next time he will be down, he will be walking... he is 8 months old today.

Hoping the video works, otherwise will do it via youtube. He only started using this yesterday.



We are having McDonalds tonight, can easily fit it in, I have 67 weekly points I can use, I am struggling to eat properly with Isaac here, he takes so much time, but I love every minute of it. The car seat arrived today so will get that put in and then we can go out and about :)

Day 35 WW Personal Plan...

I doubt I will get to the gym while Issac is here..... I want to spend as much time here with him as possible, this way I can do the breakfast shift and Steph can get some more much needed sleep. He is going through the sleep regression stage. He will be 8 months old tomorrow. 

Today will be 17 years that my mum passed away, I still miss her very much and so sad she could not meet her great grandson. 

Tonights dinner Pumpkin Soup and not sure what else. Wow cant believe it is 35 days of tracking, I have had the odd takeout, but have not binged on junk food. Also cant believe I have lost 6.5 kilos in that time, I do know that in the next week or two, that my weight loss will slow right down..... and thats when I know I will struggle.  

Isaac and I went for a walk, prob not the best time of day at 1pm, it was a bit warm.... and OMG I nearly died lol. But now I am home and cooled down a bit, I am pleased I went. Isaac is currently fast asleep in the pram. 

I am knackered, who needs a gym with a 8 month old.... going to try and go for a walk everyday.

Day 34 WW Personal Plan...

Todays plans, getting the house baby proofed for Isaac, and then wait for him to arrive.

Have just ordered a car seat for baby Isaac, so we can take him out and about, ok so I can take him out, if Steph is out with her friends etc. 

Am making Pumpkin Soup for dinner, and also have done some Tandoori chicken. Pumpkin Soup works out to be 3 points, butt get 1 point of veges, so only 2 points. I could have made a WW recipe for 0 points but it looked bland. 

Well the soup ended up being one point, (with one point veges so 0 points) somehow 4 servings became like 8 or more servings. So there is plenty for tomorrow night, so that will be a low point dinner, though I might add some toast with it.

Day 33 WW Personal Plan...

I do have one more goal...... that is to get below 300 pounds, which means I need to get below 135.9 Kilos, my goal for that is end of April. So that is 7 weigh ins to lose 2.7 Kilos, so very doable. One thing I am not going to do is put too much pressure on myself with timelines.

Gym done and dusted..... did cardio - man I am so unfit, but first week of gym done.

I am feeling really drained today. My cardio at the gym today was only bike and rower, next time I will add the elliptical. 

Yay my blood sugars are back to normal, they were so high just 6 weeks ago, so WW is definitely working, and thats not doing the diabetic plan. I am so stoked :)

Oh meant to say I do have another goal, and that is to be off my blood pressure meds and my diabetes meds by the end of the year :).

Day 32 WW Personal Plan...

Weigh in this morning was....... and bugga I am not in the 139's..... 

But I am in the 138's - todays weigh in was a loss of 1.4 Kilos. It was a 10 day week though as I was weighing in on a Tuesday. So weight now is 138.6 Kilos, only 500 grams to get to my 20 Kilos gone. Crossing fingers it will be this time next week. I would be absolutely stoked. So on WW I have lost 6.5 Kilos in 4 weeks.

Today is a gym day and it is lower body, tonight is my free meal, I have one free meal a week I dont track and thats on a Friday. 

OMG I have just seen that "This is Us" have got a 6th season, available on Amazon Prime, I loved this series. So guess what I am doing this afternoon.

I am going to start going to the gym about 7ish from now on, hopefully it won't be too busy. I will be going tomorrow and have Sunday free. I am hoping I can still get to the gym next week with baby Isaac here. Just maybe not my 5 times. 

Still cant believe I have lost 6.5 kilos in 4 weeks...... I am on a bit of a natural high lol. I really am hoping I will lose 500 grams this week, will be great to get to the 20 kilo loss again.

Day 31 WW Personal Plan....

Gym done and dusted.... bonus 7 points from the gym today, I worked my little butt off...... well ok not so little but one day lol. I did the Bike/Upper Body/Treadmill. I really enjoyed it, felt good to push myself that little bit harder.

Dinner tonight is something with mince, thats about as far as I got.....

Clients done for the day, went and got some groceries... going to make a homemade pie for dinner, nice and easy and I have a ton of weekly points left so even going to indulge in flakey pastry lol. Steph and baby Isaac are coming down on Sunday, the funeral is Monday. Going to make some Pumpkin Soup on the weekend, just feeling like it. Not sure if I will use a WW recipe or fins one of the internet. 

Tomorrow is weigh in, really hope I am still in the 130's, will be happy with anything under 139.9 lol.

Day 30 WW Personal Plan.....

Well today is a gym free day and thank god for that, my arms and legs feel like they have been hit by a bus lol. I am dreading doing clients today lol. 

I am currently cleaning out the freezer from older meat, so tonight is sausages, some sort of veges and not sure what else, maybe mashed potatoes. 

Just had my daughter on the phone, her friends mum had her life support turned off..... she is hurting as well, as she knew her really well. Even though she is 26 she is still my baby girl. Life sucks the mum was only 52.

Todays food, well am struggling, but I am tracking everything, thank god there is not a pile of junk food in the pantry, cause shit I would be in trouble. Thank god for weeklies cause I will certainly be using them today. Weigh day Friday, am hoping I am still in the 130's. Next goal is 138.1 to make my 20 kilos lost. 

Well clients done for today, one more tomorrow, then none till next week. Anyway time to cook dinner and then another early night, my arms are feeling a lot better this afternoon, all ready to do an upper body tomorrow. No water today and boy can I feel it. I am so dehydrated, drunk coke no sugar instead gggrrrrr. At least with the gym, it is a darn sight easier to drink my water.

Day 29 WW Personal Plan....

Well today will be another day, much the same as yesterday - today will be lower body at the gym, my arms are so sore from yesterday. I am dreading sitting on the loo tomorrow after my lower body workout today lol - those squats will kill me.

Looks like it is not going to be good news for my daughters close friend's mum, it is only life support now keeping her alive. He went and stayed the night up in Auckland last night, just for a break, so hopefully baby Isaac will be a nice distraction for him. 

Tonights dinner is stuffed chicken breast, and then done in the air-fryer - so looking forward to it lol.

Well thats gym done and dusted for another day, today was lower body, with the elliptical and rower added in. My arms are still so sore from upper body yesterday, and I am sure the legs will join them tomorrow. 

I have adjusted my nail hours to fit in the gym, the joys of working for myself. so Gym days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and one time on the weekend. So it will be lower and upper through the week and the weekend will be a cardio workout. 

They are turning off the life support on Steph's friends mum tomorrow......

Day 27 WW Personal Plan...

Today well soon actually I am going to pick up my gym tag, I dont know why I am so nervous, it is staffed from 9.30am, so need to wait till then. I was originally going to just look and start tomorrow, but decided I will start today by doing a smaller workout. Prob be just cardio maybe, not sure will see when I arrive there. Wish me luck.....

Oh and my blood sugars are so so close to being normal. 

Well I bloody did it, was not a long workout by any means but I did the rower and some upper body stuff, OMG my fitness has got so bad, but the only way is up now, doubt I could get much unfitter (is that even a word) lol, but I must admit it felt bloody good to be back in the gym.

Day 26 WW Personal Plan...

Well last night, I succumbed to Mcdonald's for dinner, and yip it was bloody nice. Tomorrow I go and pick up my gym tag, not sure how it will go this week, if Steph comes down, but will play it day by day. If not the gym, will be taking baby Issac out for walks otherwise, hell I could even do both, lol dont think that will be happening, need to get my fitness up first.

We are starting to think about a trip to Aussie next year, 3 weeks at the Gold Coast - miss the place. Steph will come and babysit the house and dogs. Hopefully by then Covid will be well and truly behind us. Must admit am getting a little excited, at the thought of a holiday next year. We always go about June/July and have had perfect weather every time. That would be about 60 weeks, I would love to lose about 35 kilos. I think we all need a nice goal to look forward to, after the last 2 or so years with Covid.

For my birthday every year Chris gets me an orchid plant, I always manage to kill them.... thought I would take a pic this year so I can remember them this time round lol.

Day 25 WW Personal Plan...

Today I am going to sign up to the gym..... didn't really sleep last night, got listening to talkback, they were talking about Rainbow Springs in Rotorua, as it is closing down due to Covid. Its been an icon since 1939 or sometime around there.

Joining the gym is no contract, I have not been for around 18 months, it was only $13 a week, now it is $19 a week, bloody inflation and covid I am sure is to blame for such a price hike.

Day 24 WW Personal Plan...

Though I am not doing an official weigh in today as this weeks weigh in was Tuesday and now changing to Fridays, I did actually weigh and I am in the 130's, 4 days later than my goal, but I will take it lol.

It doesn't look good for Steph's friends mum, she is now in Waikato, and waiting for some of the bleeding to slow down, before they will look at surgery. They have said she only has a 20% chance of survival if they can do surgery, and she will be be extremely brain damaged, I think they will be making some decisions on what is the best option for her, over the weekend. Covid sucks she has 7 children, and only allowed one in at a time, and only allowed 2 different visitors a day. Her partner had to do CPR when he found her. 

Anyway onto today, the mornings here are getting chilly now, nearly time to put an extra blanket on the bed soon. Yesterday it was 8 degrees, this morning it was 9 degrees, but must admit I am enjoying the cooler days.

Well I have had heaps of energy today, did heaps of cleaning, decluttering etc. Steph's friends mum had a 9 hour surgery today, it went well, they discovered another aneurysm that had not ruptured, and also a blood clot, which they said may have saved her life, so tomorrow or over the next few days they are going to try and take her of ventilation and see if she can breathe by herself and go from there. 

I am going to rejoin the gym, I love the gym, I am going to the same one I joined last time, they have 4 gyms in Rotorua so instead of going to the one I used to go too, I am going to one just a bit further out that is not nearly as busy. So will sign up tonight and hope to pick up the card tomorrow or Sunday/Monday not sure of when they are staffed.

Day 23 WW Personal Plan...

I am not going out much, because of Omicron, yes I am one of those people that want to avoid getting it, but I did venture to the supermarket this morning...... felt good. As I have changed my weigh day to Fridays, I wont be weighing in till next Friday, I would love to lose a kilo by then....... that will be my week four weigh in. 

Well got sausages out for dinner but man they are high in points..... I am trying to empty out the freezer

OMG just heard the saddest news, one of Stephs closest friends mum, had an aneurysm burst in her brain today, she has now gone to Waikato hospital on life support and with Covid the kids can't even be with her. I think Steph may be coming down tomorrow to support him.

Day 22 WW Personal Plan...

Well last night didn't really end well, I ended up having McDonald's, I was just in the mood for fast food, but anyway that was yesterday, today now will be Satay Kebabs. First morning I have not had a headache and feel like I have so much more energy. Might even go for a small walk today.

I had clients this week but cancelled at the beginning of the week, as I was unsure if I had covid, and working in a close environment, just was not worth the risk. Though I am doing a regular this afternoon, now I feel better. 

Day has been good, nice to feel nearly 100%, tomorrow I am going to do measurements, and then remeasure at the beginning of each month. I want to be 20 kilos lost by the end of the month, which is 1.9 kilos to lose this month. Anyway going to bed soon, catch you all tomorrow.

Day 21 WW Personal Plan...

Well weighed in, and so bloody close, needed to lose 1.1 Kilo and lost 1 kilo, so am 140 kilos, so bloody close ggrrrrrrr lol. I have gone down another point in my daily food. Oh well maybe by Friday when I do my new weigh day. 

Did another covid test today as they said to on day 4 if I still had symptoms, still negative phew. 

Tonights dinner, I was seriously thinking about take out, but got some satay chicken kebabs out so easy to make. Not sure what we will have with it at this stage. But whatever it is, it will be less points than a takeout.  

Wow its officially Autumn today, where the hell did January and February go too.... I know WW works for me, and getting a point for water makes me actually drink it lol. 

Finally feeling better, the headache has gone, and coughing less. Might even go for a small walk tomorrow. Drunk my water for today, yesterday I didn't have any, maybe if I had I would have lost the 100 grams I needed to get to the 130's lol.

Day 328 - House...

  Today we are off to mum and dads house, first time I have been in it since dad passed, not looking forward to it, also going to the lawyer...
