Wow last nights thunderstorm, was one of, if not the best storm I have ever seen. The clouds were amazing, I should have taken photos, we had flash flooding, power poles down, heavy downpours and amazing lightening, the thunder was so loud, but the clouds were just amazing..... it cooled the air down for a bit.....
Anyway onto today, am off to the pool soon, am dressed and ready to go........ and thats about all I have for now......
Had my shower, had my protein shake and just relaxing for a bit.
Well we have just heard back and the dads roof has asbestos, it is going to cost about $70,000 to fix, well I suppose it will come of the price and fair enough, it is just one of those things. But bugga.
I went to Taking Shape and just purchased to nighties in their 40% off sale, mine have holes lol. and a sweatshirt and top and all in a size 22, I seem to be a standard size 22 now in most shops, I was a 26/28 so slowly but surly the weight is coming off.
Just enjoyed a lunch of poached eggs on toast, I have just about perfected the poached eggs - yay :).
Tomorrow is gym day (Upper), then heading over to Tauranga for a family lunch for dad's birthday.....
Interesting, my son's house also has an asbestos roof and he was quoted about the same to remove. It's fine for now apparently but he will get it done - it will make resale easier I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteYeah, we are lucky the potential owners are happy to get it done, and we are happy just to take the loss and let them do the work. I didn't even know it was a thing back then.
