Yesterday we started dads house, we took heaps of banana boxes with stuff to the local hospice shop... we are about half way through, there were 7 of us......
The house will go on the market late January early February.... it was fucking hard, the house feels cold and just not homely with stuff gone........ I will go back in about 2 weeks time and get The Mens Shed out to look through and take the tools and anything else they want for free, and most of the other stuff will be donated to hospice, there is amazing furniture they will have, hopefully its not to large for them to take.... my sister and niece went through dads stuff, we threw out a lot and other stuff like good clothes etc will be donated to hospice....
Today is so hot....... I didn't sleep last night, everytime I shut my eyes, all I could see was the family home with most of the personal stuff gone......
Well we got up to 31 degrees today, even the fans were blowing out hot air...
Here is our first cucumber growing....
The apple cucumbers are also starting to happen as well.... we have crab apples but not sure what to do with them.....
We got droceries and that was about it.....
That's a awful job. I remember doing that for my Mum and my Grandmother. Hard for sure.
