Friday 19th January 2023 - Doctors

Isaac stayed last night, it was so hot which didn't make it easier, he had a sleep at 5.45pm and then woke up about 7.30pm, kept him up till about 8.30pm and then he went back to sleep till 5.45am, I could hear him through the monitor and see him playing with his toys and book. I got up and had a shower and he was so good he stayed in bed till 6.15am when I got him up, he really is a little treasure :).

He will go home at 11ish as I have a doctor appointment this morning, just my 3 monthly ACC report.

Not sure what exercise it will be today, maybe the pool, though it is suppose to rain later but if it is muggy then I don't care

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well today didn't go quite as planned, went to Doctors in and out before my appointment time, our doctor is amazing like that, I always turn up about 15 min early and am usually out before my actual appointment time. Then went and did an exchange on some stuff, well refunds actually, didn't have the right size in stock so have ordered it online :).

Then got home and Steph and Isaac visited for a few hours and I had a play on a VR set.... I love it and want one, it is addictive lol. I played with Chris's one at Christmas :). Steph got one the other week, and now I want one. the one I tried is this one "Meta Quest 2 Advanced All-in-one VR Gaming Headset', Chris has the latest model the Quest 3.... I went on a roller coster today and was swearing and saying the f**k word, next thing I hear Isaac going f**k whoops lol. Its my 60th next month am hinting to the kids and David thats what I would like lol.

Don't think I will be doing any exercise today, yes it is just to bloody hot and muggy.... might go for a swim later :).

I got a letter a couple of weeks ago for Jury Duty, I am hoping to get out of it as with my arthritis in the wrist, it just gets so sore. Doctor gave me a medical certificate, so here's hoping, I have also applied to be exempted permanently.

Every morning I talk to Dad on Skype, he is starting to deteriorate quite quickly and the lymph nodes in his underarm, are starting to give him pain when he lifts his arm, and he is just looking more tired every week. Its sad..... They said about February the Lymph Nodes would start giving him issues. There is nothing they can do cause his heart wont cope with radiation or anything. They may be able to zap the Lymph Nodes with one week of intensive radiation but don't think Dad will do it, it just knocks him to much around. So feeling a bit down today.

Anyway thats me for tonight, David is working tomorrow and Sunday we will go to Dads for the day and then I am going every Tuesday now as he is struggling to do groceries now as well.

Catch you all tomorrow...
