Where did this time go.... I am sure I have done stuff, but obviously not enough to remember, I know I have been sick again, I got the gastro bug and was a write off for over 3 weeks. I seem to be picking up every thing going around this year.
On Friday baby Isaac turns one year old, poor little mite is having so many teething issues.....
We are having a smaller party here on Saturday, with her Rotorua friends, and then she will have one in Auckland in a weeks or so time.
Was so sad to hear of Anne's passing, am going to miss the chats, though they were much less the last 12 months, she and her family will always hold a special place in my heart and I am so glad I got to meet her 11 years ago. RIP 💕💕
David and I have been having some talks, about where we see ourselves in retirement, I know for one thing it wont be in Rotorua. In fact the sooner we get out of here the better, we were thinking of buying very close to a beach, but have decided to buy somewhere nearby a beach, so within a 15 - 30 minute drive will suit me. I have seen some really nice places within our budget but now is not quite the time, we still would have loved to move to Aussie but now we have a grandson, he is more important now, and I dont want to miss him growing up :). I dont want a new place or a cookie cutter place, I already have the next house planned on the furniture etc lol. Just need to find the right place, and I am a great believer that things happen when the time is right......
Anyway hope to come back a bit more often... till then stay safe and catch you soon.

Nice to hear from you. Yes, I too believe that things happen when the time is right. If we'd bought our motorhome a couple of years ago it wouldn't have worked out as well as now. I'm looking forward to all the adventures we will have now and hopefully too leaving Auckland to live somewhere else will happen when the time is right too.
ReplyDeleteGood to see a check in.
ReplyDeleteYour little man is a cutie.
I too miss Anne, may she be resting in peace.
Hi Jaxx - you commented that you'd love a camper and I think you would! Just a heads up though that the laws are changing soon and to 'freedom camp' they will require proper toilets, fixed in place so if you are ever looking at one in the future keep the new laws in mind. Half the fun is freedom camping by the ocean :)
