Day 20 WW Personal Plan...

Tonights dinner is easy, steak, homemade fries and eggs. Weigh in tomorrow, am hoping to get into the 130's, think it will be close, I have had 2 weeks of good losses, so not really sure what the scales will do, I need a 1.1 kilo loss to get there.

Right now, not feeling well, it is hard not to order takeout, so making the meals easy will keep me more on track. I am so nervous about weigh in, I really want to make the 130's..... then my next mini goal is 20 kilos gone.

Anyway feeling a fraction better today, headache is not quite so bad, but still there just being a pain, got up early today to watch the Indycar as Scott McLaughlin is racing, I was a fan of his when he was doing Supercars and now watching him on Indycars, this is his second season, he won the Rookie last year.

Well did the vacuuming today and now I am knackered.... today is going so slow, I am just catching up some programmes I videoed. 

Have decided I will weigh tomorrow, then I will be changing weigh days to Friday..... so will weigh in again this Friday. I am really struggling today to keep food under control today, just not keeping busy enough, when I dont feel 100% I am thankful I dont have a house full of junk food.

Day 19 WW Personal Plan

Have woken up with a niggly throat, and still a headache, hot and cold shivers, but I also wonder if I am imaging the symptoms a bit lol. But think I might go and get a test today..... 

Just did dinner so all we have to do is heat it up tonight, tonight is Chicken Meatballs with Parmesan and Tomato and it comes to a whole 5 points plus I get two bonus non starchy vegetable points. I knew if I didn't cook it now, I would be to buggered to do it later tonight.

Went and got a RAT kit, and it came back negative, that is a relief..... will do another one on Tuesday, if I am still feeling crappy. 

Well I am heading to bed soon, still feel like crap - catch you tomorrow.

Day 18 WW Personal Plan...

Yesterday ended way over points, first the Boerewos and then I found some Poppa Jacks and ate heaps..... I did track, hence why yesterdays points were way over (I did track), I felt down, the house felt empty and all I wanted to do was eat - the joys of being an emotional eater :(.

Anyway today is a new day and feeling somewhat better, had a good sleep, have a chicken breast out for dinner and making a WW recipe burger with them, they are chicken and egg burgers. I am going to try and get out for a walk again and start building up my fitness.

Hmmmm wonder if I will make my goal of hitting the 130's on Tuesday weigh in. 

Just had a big salad and salmon for lunch, it was so nice......

Well dinner was so so, just wasn't hungry - this afternoon David had to fix the sliding door in the bedroom wardrobe, to do that he had to empty the contents, I got pissed, cause I was feeling like crap (Hope I dont have covid), no sore throat, just a massive headache, anyway decided to go through everything, threw out a bag of old shoes, have 2 big bags of clothes for donation. I am sure they will appreciate plus size clothes, just stuff I didn't wear this summer or last winter. So after bitching I am glad it got done, tomorrow I will go through the draws. It always feels good to declutter.....

Anyway I am off to bed soon, and hopefully tomorrow I will wake up feeling better.

Day 17 on WW Personal Plan...

Forgot to say yesterday I took Issac for a walk in his pram, around the neighbourhood. He loved it, me not so much as I am so unfit, but baby steps.......

Isaac and Steph are leaving in a few hours, my heart is breaking, the home will become a house again :(.

Well they have gone.... the house feels so empty. At this age he changes so much, took heaps of Insta photos of him..... we also do a video most trips where I talk to him, so he has something to watch later in life. I put it on a hard drive and will give it to him one day :). 

Steph and I took him on a walk today which was nice, Isaac loves them, he chatters away lol.

Back on track today, feels good. Dinner is all planned, we are having Boerewos, homemade chips and carrots and may do some peas. Boerewos is very high in points, so a good thing I didn't have lunch lol.

Day 15: WW Personal Plan...

Well wonder what today will bring, oh just another thing in 2 weeks since doing WW my blood sugars are getting close to what they should be... and thats not doing the diabetic plan. My goal to get into the 130's by next week may just happen, if I keep on doing what I have been doing, as that will be the first of March my goal then will be 3 kilos a month, so averaging 750 grams a week. Was going to start going for walks this week, but with Isaac here that sort of went out the door, but thats ok next week I will begin. Just to think I could possibly lose or close to another 30 kilos this year would be bloody awesome. 

Not a good day for Baby Isaac, he is teething, now in bed, Steph has gone to her friends for the night, so we are baby sitting the whole night..... think I will be one tired Oma tomorrow lol. Normally I would have told David to get takeaways but being a good girl and having homemade hamburgers.

Day 14 WW Personal Plan....

Well today I jumped on the scales with a 1.7kg loss, couldn't bloody believe it. I know I didn't go overboard but really wasn't expecting such a huge loss. Have now lost 4.1 Kilos in 2 weeks on WW and 17.1 Kilos in total. To say I am bloody happy is an understatement. 

Having Baby Isaac here is really a special time, he certainly keeps me on my toes. 

Well the day has come to an end for me, man a 7 month can tire you out, when you are out of shape. Dinner is sorted, mushrooms and Bacon and Pork and Pork and Fennel Sausages in the airfryer. I am not going to lie I was bloody tempted for takeout but am glad I cooked the mushrooms earlier. 

I am so enjoying getting Instax photos of Isaac, his little album is filling up nice.

Day 13 WW Personal Plan...

Well where do I begin..... first off, yesterday points ended well, even carried over 3 weekly points.... weigh day tomorrow, any loss will be a bonus, for a change I have not checked my weight as I am scared the scales show a gain. 

Anyway Steph and baby came down last night, she leaves when it is Isaac's bed time which is about 6.30 - 7.00pm. Anyway last night about 15 minutes from Rotorua, about 10pm, I get this weird number ringing me, the poor girl had locked herself out the car with Isaac in while she had pulled over to give him a stretch.... anyway after waving down cars, eventually a couple stopped to help. Lucky the car was on with the air con going and it was later at night, so he wasn't overheating, we turned up, after ringing AA as she is a member, but that was a 30 minute wait, so they rang the police to come out and break the window, but for some reason they didn't come out, so rung AA again and because they had cancelled the callout, once the police were called, there was going to be another 30 min wait, by now Isaac had woken up and was starting to get really anxious, so we ended up smashing the window, finally got home about 12pm. We got Isaac out the car for a stretch and he gave me the biggest smile and was happy as anything not realising what had happened lol. I have never liked her coming down late and now she has said she wont in future. 

My little heart is just buzzing have Baby Isaac here, he has changed so much in 3 weeks, he is 7 months old, crawling, pulling himself up on furniture and taking the odd step holding on to furniture. Steph is using this time to have some time out, hanging out with friends etc. He is sleeping now and I must admit the dogs, and I are enjoying the quiet time.

Well day has come to an end, Isaac is in bed, and I am knackered. But a lovely knackered lol. Weigh day tomorrow - what will be will be.

I did end up having another small piece of birthday cake yesterday, lucky for weekly points, I now only have 8 weekly left whoops. Chris and Izzy are going back to Auckland today and Steph and baby are coming down today or tomorrow. Cant wait to use my Instax camera and get some photos of baby Isaac. I am a bit worried about weigh in on Tuesday, but what will be will be.

Day 11 WW Personal Plan...

Today I am back on track..... Chris (son) and his girlfriend came down last night, I was fast asleep when they arrived so still have to catch up with them.

Breakfast was banana pancakes and some maple syrup, dinner will be curried sausages and vegies.

We decided to go out for lunch, had a beef curry all counted for, now am stuffed lol. Have a little Nandos chicken left over, so that will be dinner. Oh forgot to mention the kids got me an Instax camera, in my favourite colour sky blue..... I have wanted one for years.....

So I have been well and truly spoilt. Not much happening for the rest of the day, so will sign of now :)

Day 10 WW Personal Plan...

Well today, no official plans, yesterday ended not that great, yes I tracked but ended up using 47 points, I just ate high pointed food, like salami and had another sausage lucky that was the last one, if you didn't know I love cold sausages, but that alone was 12 points. Anyway today is my birthday and I was going to have a free day, but think I will make it a free meal maybe. Not really sure, am thinking I might even track all day lol. 

David has taken the day off, we are not going out to eat, so may Uber eat in something, Steph and baby are coming down on Sunday night and I do not want to risk eating out and maybe passing covid onto him. Yesterday we had over 1500 cases and Rotorua is getting its fair share for our population, though nothing like what poor Auckland is getting. Chris and his girlfriend are coming down tonight for the weekend :). 

OMG David has spoilt me rotten this birthday, not only did he get me my boots but also said I could purchase this 'Freddy Mercury Queen Bag' Not everybody's cup of tea but I love it. Freddy Mercury is in my top 3 artists of all time, along side David Bowie.

Well didn't end up tracking, but didn't over do it to bad. Got a small cake from the cheesecake shop, which I didn't really like so thats a bonus, the kids can finish it over the next couple of days. For dinner we had Nando's, cant remember the last time we had Nando's. Chris and his girlfriend will be here later tonight and Steph and baby will be here Sunday night. Its just been a nice relaxing day.

Day 9 WW Personal Plan....

 Dinner tonight is nice and easy, have left over Rice Risotto and am just going to cook up some lean sliced beef to make it a full meal. 

Tomorrow is my birthday, cant believe I am getting older, I feel so much younger. Wont be tracking, there are two days a year when I dont track, that is my birthday and Christmas. I will still prob track the day but will have a free meal. 

Dont think Chicken and Cheese sausages will be happening again anytime soon, just had one that was sitting in the fridge (from last night) and 6 points....... for one sausage that didn't even touch the side lol. I am also limiting my fruit to two a day, well trying to most days as they have natural sugars.

Day 8 WW Personal Plan.....

 Whoops didn't end the blog last night, went to bed early, hubby was irritating me, for no real reason lol.

Today not many plans, need to get the spare room tidied up a bit, for Chris (son) and his girlfriend to come down for the weekend :). I had taken this week of nails as I thought Steph and her bubs were planning to come down, but that has been postponed till next week, everything going to plan. 

Well the day has ended well, over daily points but that is what weeklies are for, must admit I was tempted to eat junk food but didn't but did eat higher value lunch and dinner.

 Well a new week begins..... and I am 2.35 Kilos down for the week, am happy with that. And I have dropped down a daily point.

My Docs have had a couple of outings now, so they are now officially broken in. This morning I got a few things from the supermarket for recipes this week, so no excuse to fail. If you are not sure what Docs I am talking about is is these.... hubby got them for me as my early birthday pressie. 


Tonight we are having the Chicken Thigh Sliders, just felt like them. I have been a busy little bee all morning, amazing how much more energy I have - a combo cooler weather and not eating crap all day.

Day 7 WW Personal Plan....

Weigh day tomorrow, am pretty pleased with how the week went overall. My first mini goal to get back in the 130's again - would like to be there by the 1st March, so thats my first mini goal :). That is 2 more weigh days, after tomorrow'w weigh in, might be pushing it but hey if its the week after then all good. My initial goal weight for now is to get to 99 Kilos. So that means a loss of 46.1 kilos from last weeks weigh in. No time frame for this. 

I am feeling so much better today, the heat has gone and what a difference it makes, I have so much more energy, been running around doing housework etc, and its amazing how many steps I have done. We had 12 degrees this morning and getting a high of 20 - loving it. 

Have been keeping myself busy, today I did my nails, they are much shorter than I am used too, but with baby maybe coming next week now, wanted to keep them shorter. And square, never have square yet alone short lol. 


Anyway about to do dinner, am glad to say week 1 was a success with even weekly points left over. Lets repeat it for week 2 :)

Day 6 WW Personal Plan...

 And another day begins, well the rest of New Zealand seems to be getting wind blown around here in Rotorua, we seem to be relatively quiet. Though one of the neighbours tree branch broke and is currently leaning on the fence line. 

Have planned todays food except lunch, tonight we are having taco shells, looking forward to that. 

Steph was going to come down today with baby, but the weather is really bad in Auckland, so she is hoping to come tomorrow. Will be the best birthday pressie ever, to have baby here for my birthday on Friday. 

Not many plans for today, it is not so muggy here today - yay.

Day 5 WW Personal Plan....

 And another day begins, the week is going so well, dinner is planned and tracked so thats good.

Am feeling so much better today from the booster shot, just cant wait till this humidity goes as it is too sticky and hot to do anything. The rain last night did nothing. The good news is my Doc Martins are all broken in :).

Today I am struggling cause I am bored, yet it is too hot to do anything - yip moaning about the bloody heat again. Tomorrow it is suppose to be much cooler and am so looking forward to it. It can piss down with rain for all I care, just be cooler, thats not a lot to ask surely. 

OMG 'Vagary' are starting to release their new collection, well not release but are giving us previews, and I am so in love with this set.... It is called the Botanical Collection, I am going to get this I am pretty sure. Their collections sell out pretty quick, so if you like it then dont wait once they release them. 

        

Yes they are more on the pricy but their quality is amazing and the clothes just sit so nice.

Day 4 - WW Personal Plan....

 Yesterday went well, I ended up going to bed at 7.30pm and asleep soon after, and woke up at 7am, today I still feel so tired, but hey tomorrow I know I will wake up better. 

Our darling little dogs are at the groomers, they will be feeling better with their haircut, they go every 6 weeks. Here they are after their groom. Rusty and Sooty, Sooty is our little rescue we picked up after Chico sadly passed away.


Sooty was a breeding dog, they bred with her every 6 months, for 4 years, then her litters died and she ended up needing emergency C section and became of no use to them, so a rescue agency picked her up and we got her from them. She lacks social skills, but she is a little treasure.

Tonight we are having takeaways, that is where my weeklies come in. Am having McDonald's and it fits easy within my points, it does mean I go over for the day but thats ok. 

I know yesterday I said I didn't want to weigh in till Tuesday, well I did have a sneaky weigh in this morning, lets just say I am happy with the results for Day 4. I know WW works, I just need to stick it with it. Next week I am planning to add in some exercise, my darling little Grandson, is hopefully coming for a few days. 

Well McDonald's was a let down, not worth the 30 odd points I used for it. Hope I remember this moment next week lol.

Anyway am off for tonight, I am tired and still have a headache. Hopefully tomorrow I will wake up feeling better.

Day 3 WW Personal Plan....

 Day 2 ended well, though I did feel peckish at night, but an orange and nectarine helped with that.

Well now onto Day 3, weighing in - well normally I would weigh in everyday, but this time I am trying my hardest not to weigh in till weigh day which for now is Tuesday mornings.

Will leave this here for now, about to head out the door to get my booster shot. 

Booster shot done, feel ok now, the bloody humidity is doing my head in...

Have decided to just write down my points for the day, rather than what I eat exactly.  

Well most of dinner is prepped, as the day gets on, with this heat I feel less and less like cooking lol. Have I mentioned it is hot.

Day 2 on the WW Personal Plan....

 Day 1 was a success, I even had 16 Points left for the day - the key keeping busy. This means my weeklies have gone up to 35 points, (Extra 4 points carryover and 3 points from steps).

Today have some clients, and am making the macaroni a bit earlier as I have a late client and wont feel like cooking then. Planning the meals a week ahead I think will really help.

Yesterday I ordered from 'The Meatbox', we ordered the 'Fit Box', as the meat is lean not because I am fit lol. We also added some 'Chicken Tenderloins' and 'Skinless Boneless Chicken Thighs' This will arrive Friday. 

OMG yesterday was so muggy, we had 99% humidity most of the day

Well today is just as muggy, have prepped dinner, all I need to do is heat it in the oven, after my last client for the day later. It looks and smells bloody nice. Tomorrow I go for my Covid booster shot, not really looking forward to it but needs must.

Well dinner was ok, I forgot the garlic and salt and pepper..... which would have made it much nicer. For the high points, I am not sure if I will cook it again. Looking forward to tomorrows dinner pork with a mushroom sauce, and only 4 points :). Am still feeling a bit peckish, so some watermelon or fruit will be on the cards.

Ended the night with an Orange and Nectarine, trying to limit fruit to two serves, now I feel satisfied :)

Day 1 on the WW Personal Plan

Lets go back a bit, my highest weight was 158.1 Kilos, my weight today was 145.1 Kilos, I am not proud I gained, but am pleased I managed to keep 13 Kilos off........

Yesterday and today I have been cleaning out the pantry/fridge/freezer getting rid of any old food and junk food. If it ain't in the house then I wont eat it :) We also did a big shop yesterday of healthy food and we also planned out our weeks meals and got everything we need. Every Saturday we will plan the following weeks dinners and get what we need. 

My birthday is next week and David got these Doc Martins for me, currently breaking them in, well actually they are probably 90% broken in now...... This is my fourth pair, the first pair I got was early 80's they are well worn in but still wear them to this day. 


We are currently in Level Red Covid, which means we can do pretty much everything if you are vaccinated and if you are unvaccinated there are limits like max 25 people if you do not use the vaccine pass and if you use the vaccine pass it it is 100 people. Unvaccinated can not go to close contact business's like me as a nail tech, and a few other places. Masks are mandatory pretty much everywhere when out and about. Omicron started here about 6 weeks ago, we are 95% vaccinated here in New Zealand.

Breakfast: 2 Poached Eggs on Low Carb Toast and some Watermelon - 2 Points √

Lunch: Tandoori Chicken Breast/Salad in a Low Carb Wrap - 10 Points √

Dinner: Steak with Herb Butter and Chips and Beans - 8 Points √

Who am I....

Well where do I begin, if you have found me welcome.... I was born in the mid 60's, yip you can work out my age lol. I am a nail tech and work from home....

If you want to follow feel free - some of you will know me from one of many other blogs.....

I will be starting the WW the personal plan programme tomorrow (8th Feb 2022). 

I have pretty much been a lazy person for the last 2 years, nothing to blame it on but me, though I am sure I could think of 100 different reasons, if I really wanted to....

I have lost about 13 kilos, had lost about 28 but managed to gain 15 kilos back, when I was being lazy. 

So there you go a brief intro, if you want to know more then you will just have to follow me :)

Day 328 - House...

  Today we are off to mum and dads house, first time I have been in it since dad passed, not looking forward to it, also going to the lawyer...
