Day 120 - 2025.... Will today be the day :)

Will today be the day that I start or finish Isaac's wardrobe - lets see, then I will have only the cleaning cupboard to do, then I need to organise a few cupboards in the kitchen but that is only little stuff, and just because, it is bloody raining and muggy again. 

Rubbish bins in, love that they come so early, washing on, how can two people still have a load of washing every day lol. 

Whoops forgot to post the first bit, it is now a few hours later and Yes I just finished the wardrobe, have heaps of space in there, ok not heaps but enough to add more stuff in there if need be. I am knackered and hot....... have sorted out all the baby clothes into sizes and seperate bags, my god Isaac had so much clothing that was cute and the prem clothes were so tiny....... everything just now needs to be washed, and ready for the little boy in about 8 weeks. 

Think I will leave the cleaning cupboard till Friday or even next week, its not even that bad, just needs to be sorted a bit. 

Day 119 - 2025.... We have sun.....

Isaac has been dropped of to pre-school, man we had another rough night going to sleep, but once asleep he slept through till 1am, then woke up coughing etc, didn't have his inhaler and didn't want to wake Steph  to get it, eventually the cough stopped and he went back to sleep and woke up about 7.15am. 

Not sure of plans today, may start on Isaac's wardrobe, but maybe not either..... 

The sun has come out yay...

Day 118 - 2025.... What am I up to today...

Today Isaac is here for the night, Steph has a scan first thing in the morning tomorrow, so I will do a kindy drop off.... might make some cookies, he loves that :).

This week I am going to do those three damn hall cupboards that I have been meaning to do for months..... I will do one Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday and no gaming each day till they are done. 

Have already done today's jobs, so just waiting on dad to get on Skype...

Well I actually just finished two of the cupboards and feel hot and sweaty - lovely aye lol. Isaac will be here soon. The only one left is the cleaning cupboard and I need to work on  Isaacs wardrobe, another place which got everything thrown into..... hope to start that tomorrow after kindy drop off :).

Day 117 - 2025.... A boring day...

Today didn't do much, spent a bit of time with Steph and Isaac, did some gaming - dinner was easy we got a cooked chicken and rolls.... been such a long time since we had it, and it was yummy.....

Got some more stuff for baby boy, Steph is 30 weeks yesterday, she has a scan again on Tuesday. 

Thats it from me, been feeling a bit off today.... just really light headed....

Day 116 - 2025.... Been a bit busy....

 Chris and partner have just left, was a really nice visit.....

Yesterday we went to 'The Unlost Village Travelling Market' -hope the link works, it was a bit pathetic but Isaac loved it.... here he is in the bumper car with Chris's girlfriend.... they have been together 10 years :). 

He loved the big bubbles and got scared going down the slide, he freaked out major lol.

Today we all went out to lunch, this is my socialising for the year now lol. 

Tomorrow not much planned, groceries I suppose.....

Day 115 - 2025 - Relaxing Day....

 Today not much is happening, Chris and Girlfriend will be here about 2 ish......

Washing is in the dryer, and once thats folded, I will have nothing else to do - might do some gaming lol. 

Have some pulled pork for dinner, I purchased it from 'The Meat Box', already cooked, so not sure what we will have with it. Actually not even sure of the kids will be here for dinner, they tend to go to this Mexican place for dinner here in Rotorua, and I hate Mexican :)

Anyway nothing else to report, looks like a beautiful day ahead :)

Day 114 - 2025... Today is all about tidying up etc.....

It is time to put the electric blankets back on the bed.... normally I leave them on the beds, but with moving, I took them off.... need to wash Isaacs sheets for Chris and his girlfriend. Also putting on an extra blanket, last night was rather chilly..... hell might even put on the winter sheets :). 

Then I want to do all tomorrow housework today, so tomorrow is a free day.... which most is done actually :).

Have my friend coming today for nails, and going to send her home with a couple of bags of feijoas :)

Well I am stuffed, did my friends nails and she took home a huge bag of feijoas.....

Changed all the bedding to winter, electric blankets on beds, extra blankets and woollen blankets, and guess what I am prob going to bitch tomorrow that it is to hot....

Steph is going through a rough time and this pregnancy is really tiring her out......she is 30 weeks on Saturday...

Day 113 - 2025 - Been A Busy Bee...

Last night I got the urge to rearrange the craft/Gaming/Nail room.... I was stuffed by the time I had finished and I am not happy with it, may have another go later.....

This morning, I went and did the outdoor furniture, I put the outdoor couch in the sunroom, so we can relax in there for the winter...

Oh and guess what it is not muggy yay - humidity is only 88%.....

I also need to pick the tomatoes, well whats left of them, after the rain and wind, prob another 2 ice cream containers full. 

Anyway just waiting on dad for our daily skype call, catch you later :)  

Well started to rearrange stuff, when I looked at it properly and thought this is not going to fit this way, so moved it all back...

Chris and his partner are coming down on Friday for one night, bloody hell got to wash the sheets before he comes and again after he goes, all ready for Isaac again. Hardly worth it gggggrrrrr. 

Anyway nothing else exciting happened today, catch you all tomorrow :)

Day 112 - 2025..... Still Bloody Muggy...

 I am over this bloody heat.......

Last night Isaac stayed the night, he wanted to do.... so now not staying the night tonight....

I am thinking of rearranging the nail/craft/gaming area, but not sure how....

So many things I am suppose/want to be doing but really have no motivation.....

And thats me prob for today, I am a right old grump today....

Day 111 - 205 - Todays Plans - Groceries and....

Not sure what else we will do, looks like most of the rain has passed, well the worst of it - yay :) This humidity has really got to me...

For now I am just waiting for dad to come on Skype.....

One more week, and the pool will be kid free, and I can go to the pool.....

Day 110 - 2025.... And its still bloody raining....

 And it's still bloody raining......

Isaac has now gone home, he was very happy the Easter Bunny stopped here as well as home (I think). I am hoping to have him Tuesday night as well....

I am feeling tired today, think it is the wet hot weather draining me..... 

I am now going to do some gaming....

Day 109 - 2025...... This bloody humidity....

This bloody humidity is killing me....... its at 96%.... the rain has stopped, but still overcast...

David is doing overtime today....

Think Isaac is staying tonight, Chris and his partner are no longer coming down, they were suppose to arrive yesterday, he used the weather as an excuse, but they had been to a concert or something the night before and were hungover....

Oh and I want to clean my jewellery today or tomorrow with the Bicarbonate soda/hot water/tin foil trick as my pandora silver bracelet is so black.

I have been tidying up the fridge and pantry, amazing how messy it can get in 6 months, ok well not really messy am just trying to organise it better. Hell might even start on the three cupboards that I had been planning to do for the last month or so....

Can't wait till school holidays are over, can get back in the pool.... looking forward to it, hell might even make it to the gym next week lol. 

Day 108 - 2025....

Today not much will be happening.... its wet and windy and most things are closed...

Chris and his partner will be down later this afternoon.

Dad had his oncologist appointment yesterday, unless anything changes he doesn't need to go back. But basically there is nothing more they can do, Radiation is now off as he is not well enough. Dad is scared, he knows the end is near, he no longer wants to make his homemade vegie soup, this is huge he has been cooking it regularly and freezing it in smaller containers for 20 years since mum has gone. He struggle'e to even walk to the garage now, which is connected to the house. Its heartbreaking.... he is looking skinnier as he has lost muscle's in his arm/legs.....

Anyway enough of that, its starting to make me cry thinking about it.....

Todays jobs is just to change the sheets and clean the shower and thats it, washing is all done apart from the sheets - might be the perfect day for gaming lol.

Day 107 - 2025......

Today it is wet.... I don't mind at all, last night we had wind, the storm is suppose to hit us later this afternoon:)

Today we have hot water, I ended up switching it over to the normal hot water cylinder last night, I may have another tweak next week, but right now I am over it lol. Our heating is still through the bore, and thats what hits the power bill up. 

This morning I have a doctors appointment, for my yearly ACC cert... 

And thats about it for now....

Dr Visit done and ACC cert done for another 12 months....

The wind has really picked up now..... its a bit scary. 

Chris and his partner are planning to come down tomorrow now as the worst of the weather should be over.

Day 106 - 2025.....

Another day another god knows what, this week I had beena bit lazy on housework but all up to date now. 

Poor Isaac his cough kept him up last night, finally fell asleep at 10.20pm..... well past my bedtime lol. His cough is asthmatic, its alot better this morning, after his puffer. He is off to kindy soon, then I better go and get some Easter Eggs, and hope they have not sold out whoops....

Chris and partner may not be coming down now, depends on the weather...

The bore guy is coming to look at our heating system this afternoon, and hopefully explain it again, what we need to do. 

And thats me for now, time to do kindy drop off.....

Well the guy came and said everything I am doing is right, its just a matter of tweaking it and this time next year we will be pros..... ours is one of the hardest ones to get right, we can update it and we might consider it, depending on cost the other option is we can switch the hot water over to normal and just have the heaters on thermal.... so we may do that if I can't sort it, so I will keep tweaking I suppose lol. 

Day 105 - 2025....

Well we had Steph's specialist appointment today, all went really well..... They will be keeping a closer eye on her and bubs, but for now its all looking good yay :).

Dad got his St John alarm today, so thats a relief as well, at least now if he falls he can get help, so double yay :). 

Still trying to figure out this bloody thermal heating, so thats NOT a yay.....

And thats it for me for now.......

Well we are getting the bore specialists in tomorrow - everything I have tried is not working and the banging continues.... no banging tonight, but hardly any hot water.... apparently it changes when the temps get colder. Grrrrrr

And thats me for tonight, have Isaac here :)

Day 104 - 2025.....

Today I have been fiddling again with the heaters and hot water setting.... my god this stuff is confusing, not sure we should have purchased a thermal home now lol. Nah I know it will be good in a few years time, once we sussed it out lol. 

In between that I have been gaming, and done fuck all else.... good think is I don't eat when I am gaming lol. 

Tomorrow we have the specialist appointment for Steph and her baby, will be interesting to see what the plan is moving forward....

4 day weekend this weekend, normally we would go to dads, but Chris and his partner are visiting that weekend, and my niece is going another day. He will be stuffed with those visitors, since his fall he is not doing the best.

Chris and partner are coming down here for a night or two this weekend, and will visit dad on the way home, or on the way here.

Day 103 - 2025....

 I am currently watching Indy car qualifying, not many plans for today, grocery shopping and thats about it, oh ad pick up my meds. 

I purchased a Fitbit last night, will pick up today with click n collect, I wanted something for swimming, my Apple Watch has a big crack in it and its years old, my Fitbit is nothing fancy and it is in sale. I can not justify spending a huge amount of money on an Apple watch. Also the Fitbit is so much smaller :)

Our sunroom has curtains, pulled them aside and found 3 light switches, was wondering where the back door one was, and the second light in the courtyard. 

When we got home the house was so nice and warm, in fact it was too warm and had to close a heater down lol. But boy its going to be fantastic coming into a warm house in the winter, with no power costs :). Oh the hot water was not quite as hot this morning, so have adjusted it ever so slightly and no banging... so will check that in a few hours, hope I did it the right way or David will be having a cold shower :).

Day 102 - 2025....

Today we are off to see dad....

Picked him some fresh tomatoes....

Day 101 - 2025....

Another week nearly over.....

Yesterday Isaac was playing with the Mario cart steering wheel, I was sitting on an office chair next to him, doing the foot pedals as he cant reach.... anyway where we were, is those artificial wood lino thingees, anyway went to straighten myself in the chair and the bloody thing went out from under me and I landed on my butt, Isaac looked so shocked, felt a bit tender I must say.

Then last night we needed to adjust the heating on the thermal heaters and the hot water, as it is getting colder now. First we put the leaver the wrong way and the heaters went colder, so we moved them again in the other direction, the heater and water was hot, in fact to hot and this bloody banging was going all night, I felt so bad for the neighbours lol. Anyway at 3am we tried adjusting again but the banging kept going, I had crap sleep and am so tried and grumpy, add to that my butt and lower back was also sore from falling of the chair..... The area where all the connections are, is just by our bedroom, in the laundry. This morning I have slightly adjusted them again, we then need to wait about 3 or so hours to check them, you can only move the leavers a cm or two at a time. The knocking is getting less thank god. I can't wait till it becomes second nature to us all. 

So that was our eventful 24 hours....

Tomorrow we are off to see dad, and to do his groceries, he is looking a bit better this morning on skype.

And on that note, I am outta here, may or maybe not be back later :)

OK think I have sorted out the banging, it has stopped, I adjusted the hot water leaver slightly. Heaters are now cold, so warming those up bit by bit.... wish me luck I have done it the right way around - I will know in a couple of hours but hey no banging :)

Day 100 - 2025....

Well another day, I Skyped dad and he does not look good at all, David and I are going over Saturday. I cried when I got off Skype and he looked even worse, when I had a quick chat with him last night again. 

Today is housework, Isaac might be coming for the night, not 100% sure yet. 

Yesterday I got mail and have been called up for Jury Duty yet again, I have lost count of how many times I have been called up. I am going to apply to get out of it, I did last time, and should again this time. 

Hopefully back later but who knows lol

Day 99 - 2025.....

Just waiting for dad to get on Skype, to see how he is feeling today. Yesterday all he did was sleep I think. He will have his medic alarm on Tuesday. That will be such a relief, and it means he can still be independent but knows someone is there if he falls again etc.....

I didn't do much yesterday except play a lot of gaming to keep my mind sane, then wondered why I had a headache later in the day lol. 

I think Autumn is finally here, it has been rather chilly the last few days, maybe time to turn on some more heaters, and hopefully they wont need to be turned off again in a days time :).

Day 98 - 2025....

Well what an eventual morning, was waiting for dad on Skype, when he face-times me, not unusual if he can't get onto Skype, but he had fallen at 3am and rung me at 8am, and he couldn't get up. Anyway my sisters partner who works in Katikati went there and took him to the doctor, he has a sore back but considering everything, he is ok. I offered to go and stay with him but he said I would stress him out more. Right now all he needs to do is sleep, he had another incident 48 hours ago. The good news is he has finally agreed to a St Johns medic alarm..... I still might go and visit him tomorrow......

We just had a massive rain shower....

And thats me for today, I have the headache from hell

Day 97 - 2-25.....

Isaac is still here, playing with the Lego that used to belong to Chris and Steph... and also a lot of it I got from my Oma (my grandmother) from Holland, from when we were little, and came to visit us :). 

Today I must pick the tomatoes..... lets see if that happens.

Today I woke up at 5.30am, slightly better than 4.30am.

Day 96 - 2025....

WTF I hate daylight saving when it goes back, got up at 4.30am...... I know I am going to be a grumpy bitch today.

I have no idea what we are doing today, maybe have Isaac for a bit or the night... and need to pick those tomatoes, as well as getting groceries :).

Did I pick the tomatoes nope, to busy enjoying time with Isaac, there is always tomorrow. Isaac is here for the night.

Went and got groceries and thats about it for the day, it seems a bit cooler right now and we might even get some more rain :).

Day 95 - 2025......

Have had a lovely time with Isaac, he has just gone home, we went to kmart and got himself a toy and his future baby brother a toy, it is a 'mother lama' and so cute. Also got him some clothes :). 

Isaacs toy he got.... a 'Paw Patrol Recycling Truck'

Could hear all this noise outside and when I looked it was a Hindu festival parade, so Isaac and I went to the road and watched it, where he scored some food and drink lol. It was really nice, there are some advantages to living close to town. 

And just like that the rain has gone.... and its hot and muggy lol. 

This afternoon is just relaxing, might do some gaming and oh must not forget to pick the tomatoes :). Oh and watch the F1 practice 3 later on :).

Day 94 - 2025.......

Wonder what today will bring me..... Last nights dinner was really yum, the curried sausages were perfect... Housework done, changed sheets on the bed etc....

And its pissing down but still 95% humidity, so sticky horrible heat..... and this is what Isaac did today, enjoying jumping in puddles lol.

We have baked biscuits, played, watched Sponge Bob his programme of choice right now, alongside the Gummibears. 

Was going to pick tomatoes but thats a job for a dryer day, maybe tomorrow :).

And thats it for now, for some reason I keep thinking today is Saturday gggggrrrrrrr. David is working tomorrow, might take Isaac to the shops tomorrow, he can choose a toy. 

Might be back later but more than likely not :)

Day 93 - 2025.....

Well another day, and we have had rain, yay.... still muggy but rain yippee.......

Today I will pick up Isaac from kindy and hopefully he will stay for a couple of nights :)

I also need to pick some tomatoes later today :)

Did I pick tomatoes nope, is Isaac staying not tonight - hopefully tomorrow night, he is a real mummy's boy right now :). Hopefully he is coming in the morning, to help make pancakes for breakfast. 

I am feeling a whole lot of emotions now..... not sure why. It has been raining and is a little chillier today, so have now shut the curtains in the lounge - first time we have done that, cause of the fences and hedge, we are quite private so don't really need to shut them but just want to feel snuggly tonight :). 

Anyway thats me for today, have made curried sausages for dinner, will prob do mash potatoes and veggies to go with it :). 

Day 92 - 2025....

Well weigh in last month was an exciting 300 grams loss - hey but its not a gain, and I am ok with that :).

Today is a bit of a rest day, my knee and my wrist (mainly wrist) is just a little on the sore side, I think its the extra 1 1/2 hour trip cause of bloody roadworks there and back to/from dads, has put some more pressure on the wrist, we did grocery shopping, and put his electric blanket on his bed and clean sheets etc, so he should be happy, he has food in his fridge again :). 

Day 91 - 2025....

Today I am off to see dad and do his groceries etc and bring a ton of fruit over. I will leave about 9.30am after traffic and pick up some lunch for us on the way over. 

I am going to post this soon, otherwise there might not be a post again today lol. Oh and forgot to do my monthly weigh in, so will try and remember tomorrow morning. 

So on that note, catch you hopefully later tonight, when I get home :). 

Well am back the trip took me an extra hour going over, cause of bloody roadworks, if I never see another roadwork again, I will be happy. Coming home it was just over an extra half an hour. I am fucked......

I am having KFC for dinner, I made the mince dish yesterday, but I don't like it - good thing David loves it, so that is what he is having :).

Isaac at this stage is coming Thursday and Friday night :).
