Day 284 - Last Day of September.....

Well another day starts, tonight I have Isaac for the night, tomorrow night David is in Hamilton for the night. 

Well must admit it was nice having a hot shower again lol, though the cold ones were refreshing, it was not quite warm enough yet to have cold showers. 

Today's plans not sure yet, do need to make a Dr appointment, will probably potter around doing bits n bobs. Oh and want to change my wardrobe around to summer clothes in the front and winter clothes in the back :). 

I will do drop off and pick up today for kindy, seeing as Isaac is staying the night :).

Well kindy ain't happening, Isaac is sick, well a bad asthmatic cough..... I will still have him tonight, but not sure if he will go to kindy tomorrow either. 

I did my wardrobe, what I thought was a 20 minute job, took me an hour lol. And its bloody cold today....... so I turned the thermal heating back on again for a bit....

Rusty enjoying the sun on the couch, the dogs love it there :)

Speaking of Rusty, he has this real nasty cough, reminds me of what Chico sounded like, if it doesn't go away in the next day or so, we will take him to the vet. It only seems to be on and off at this stage. 

Anyway about to go and pick up Isaac soon :)

Poor we mite Isaac, is sick, don't think he will be at kindy tomorrow either..... Steph has an appointment tomorrow at 11.30am, so he will go back after that tomorrow.

Day 283 - A New Week and a New Month Begins This week :)

Well the hot water issue is not a big one (we think), cause last night at some ungodly hour I woke up and thought hmmmm do we have a fuse box for the hot water and yes we do, and it was broken, so once we get some fuse wire today we can hopefully have an easy fix and hot water again today :)

This morning, I have been moving things around a bit outside..... 

The fence will be redone maybe this summer, then the weather rooster (dad made), will go on that. Not sure if I will move the windmill or not, another thing dad made :). 

This is the back courtyard.....

If we keep some furniture out the front, we will purchase some more for here or out the front..... In the corner behind the chair, is all the gym equipment which I have yet to use lol.

And here are our Lettuces/Strawberries/Spinach.....

We are having homemade hamburgers tonight might try some of our lettuce again and hopefully it wont be so bitter as last time lol. Our strawberries have some flowers on them yay - will purchase a bird net to go over them soon :). 

Well fuse changed, so hopefully have hot water in an hour or two..... sat outside the front this morning, in the sun, started some weeding, then the rain came........  and for a change I don't mind it lol. 

And we have hot water again phew, thank god it wasn't the cylinder, that would not have been a cheap job. So thats me for today, catch you all tomorrow :). 

Day 282 - Been a Nice Weekend :)

Well first off DAYLIGHT SAVINGS is here yay...... but we have no hot water..... ggggrrrrr so need to get someone out to check that out, in the meantime, it is cold showers I suppose lol. We changed the water over to thermal but that has not seemed to make a difference :). 

Eli had a really good sleepover, woke up at about 1am for a bottle then again at about 5ish, then decided to stay awake till about 10.30ish, Isaac woke up about 7am, so he had 12 hours of sleep. So not bad for Eli's first sleepover :).

The kids popped in for about an hour, when we had birthday cake and then Chris and Izzy left to go back to Auckland, and a slightly hungover Steph took the munchkins home :)

Oh Eli rolled over today 3 times by himself, first time and Steph missed it, I videoed the third roll for her lol.

Here is my little munchkin before bed last night, he was so good.....

After everyone went, we went and got some groceries, then we took some outdoor furniture out the front. Its there as a trial to see if we use it, as when we do the fence, we are thinking of making some sort of decking out there - so we are trialling to see if we like and use it :). 

Will take some photos tomorrow :).

And here we are nearly 6.45pm and it is still light yay :). Watch out though soon I will bitch that its to hot, oh and still no hot water..... but we got the fans inside ready for summer.....

Day 281 - Birthday Lunch....

 Today we are having Hells Pizza for the birthday lunch, thats what the kids wanted, I am also getting a cake from the Cheesecake Shop, will get it today but think they will have it tomorrow, on their birthday :). Chris and Izzy will pop in before they head back to Auckland :). 

Tonight the kids and friends are going out drinking, so I will be babysitting both the little ones, and Chris and Izzy are staying in a motel in town, so they can drink till their hearts content lol. Steph has a friend down from Auckland staying with her, so they will prob uber home :). 

Guess what today is - DAYLIGHT SAVINGS lol......

Before we moved into this house, I thought I would never want an ensuite, now I don't think I could be without one, its so nice having 2 bathrooms, it means guests also have their own bathroom kind off lol. 

Anyway thats it from me for now......

Oh yesterday Chris and I were looking at some of his old toys and found the kids Gameboy Advance - man how did we play with them in the past lol.

A real blast from the past lol - technology has really improved over the years :).

Well the day has gone well, and finally when I wake up DAYLIGHT SAVINGS will be here, in case you forgot :).

Both kids are asleep, just need to wheel Eli's co-sleeper to the bedroom when I go to bed soon, hoping he wont wake up. Is it to much to hope he will sleep through the night, probably lol. But if I can get away with one bottle that will make me happy :).

Day 280 - They are Here.....

Chris and Izzy arrived last night, it was nice to catch up....

Its not raining yay - I even put some jewellery on today, and am feeling so much better. I also turned the thermal heater off in the bedroom, and didn't wake up with a headache..... double yay.

Not a lot planned for the day, just spending time with the family :).

Tomorrow night I am having both Isaac and Eli for the night, as the kids want to go out for drinks, hope the night goes well :).

Here are my nails.... not quite what I normally do, I was hoping the orange foil would be brighter..... but they will do for a couple of weeks, then I will do some halloween nails - just because :). 

The kids are still sleeping lol. 

One more sleep then day light savings is here, it means it wont get dark till after 7pm - love it :)

Well did some baby sitting while the kids went out....... and now they are all at Steph's house... so peace and quiet here for now :).

I keep thinking today is Saturday - god knows why, I keep getting excited that the clocks are going forward tonight, but sadly I have to wait a day longer.

Today has been a nice day, one more sleep then it is daylight savings - can you tell I'm a little excited lol.

Day 279 - Chris and Izzy here Tonight......

Todays plans, not much - it is not raining, but the grass and gardens are soaked so no watering the gardens again :).

Just having no rain has boosted me a bit....

Chris and Izzy are coming down tonight, they are going to see dad on the way, and they are here till Sunday :).  

Dad got two injections now for him as needed at home, (the chemist dropped them off yesterday), as his wounds bleed a lot, and if he collapses, the nurses etc can administer the injection to stop the bleeding, which in turn will stop everything, they will then give the injection for end of life.... (well I think it is something like that). It was authorised by the hospice doctors, as his wounds are only going to get worse, and his body will start shutting down. 

Anyway thats it for now.....

It has a clock, another ghosty thing and a few little other things.... I love it :).

I have a headache from hell, I am beginning to think its from the thermal heating, so have turned it off in the bedroom for now. I don't need it in there :). 

Just did my nails, to hopefully perk me up - nope it didn't.... oh well, photo tomorrow if I don't forget. 

Day 278 - F This Rain......

I really am dictated by the weather.... just like that I am feeling down again. I hate it.... and its suppose to rain over the next few days, well the next week.......

Yesterday dad had another rough day, and I also felt like I was just being used by the twins..... how can I bounce around like that all the time, I am thinking of making a Dr appointment, oh and my lower back/kidney is feeling just about 100% yay for that.

Lets end this part of a post on a positive, yip I don't need to water the gardens.....

Well today I have been doing this, I pulled the whole thing apart and started from scratch - I must have missed a part which was why I didn't get it together last time. I took me about 5 hours to complete :). 

I am happy with it, tomorrow I will take a photo of the inside :). I want more lego again now lol....

Man we have had a lot of rain today....... my lettuces have loved it, they have tripled in size overnight it seems.

Day 277 - Another Day......

Today is kindy drop off, Isaac was up and bright as a button at 5am, roll on daylight savings, when the morning, will be a bit darker please.....

Main job today, clean out the fridge, doesn't need a major clean just a good wipe down :), wash Isaacs sheets for Chris and Izzy, who I think are coming down Thursday :). 

Not sure of other plans yet..... think I need to pick up Isaac as well today as Eli has his vaccinations around pick up time :). 

Oh and its raining, so no need to water the garden again today... homemade burgers for dinner so nice and easy :). 

Fridge all cleaned inside and out :)

I think it will be fine there, the curtains block the sun on it, and it sits behind the back door when the door is open, which is most of the time :). 

Now to go and put the sheets in the machine :) 

Hmmmmmm I like where the fridge is, but not the rest of the craft area...... tomorrow I might do some moving things around :). Or maybe today it might happen :). 

Did have a tootoo, still not happy with it but better I think :)

Day 276 - A New Week begins/Twins Turn 30......

The twins turn 30 on Sunday.... wow that time has gone fast.....

Anyway guess what it's raining, so the positive, I don't need to water the garden lol. 

Isaac had a good sleep, he is staying tonight and I will do kindy drop off in the morning :). 

Isaac's plans for the day, make biscuits/play/watch a movie/read some books and I am sure he said more.... don't need to cook dinner, have enough macaroni left over, so thats a bonus :).

Well movie watching is happening kinda, we are watching A Minecraft Movie, I kinda like it, Isaac is enjoying parts of it..... 

Oh and another thing to do, is to have a bath with lush products lol. 

Housework has been done for the day..... washing is on, had my watermelon and strawberries for breakfast :). 

Have read some books, Dr Seuss and Little Mr and Miss books are flavour of the month.... lol 

Well Isaac enjoyed a snooze lol

Biscuits are now in the oven :)

Its actually been a nice day today, Isaac has been so good :)

We have a spare fridge in the garage, still in good knick, I have decided today I want to move it into the sunroom, we have space, well I just made space..... hmmmm do I try and move it by myself, prob not a good idea, even though I am bloody tempted lol. Or do I ask David to help when he gets home from work, don't think he will appreciate it.... but..... we have one step where I would have to lift it up, the rest will be easy peasy kinda lol. And it will make a bit more room, in the garage to dump more stuff lol. 

Well fridge is done, will clean it out tomorrow and organise it all :)

Anyway about to put Isaac to bed, well soon and do some story-time :)

Day 275 - Longer Days......

The days are so much longer, it was 6.30pm and outside it was still semi light last night. Daylight Savings starts this time next week.......

Yesterday I purchased a yummy piece of watermelon, well it looks lovely, am going to eat it soon, I really wanted to eat it last night, but knew I would be up peeing all night.... and also wanted it really chilled :).

Today's plans not much, think it will be a cruisy day, going to make some "Oma's Macaroni", mum used to make it for the twins when they were little, and Isaac loves it, and he's going through a stage of I don't like much food..... so hopefully he will eat that. I actually went out and got the mince and some breakfast sausages for breakfast :).

Oh last night a nail came off, instead of just replacing it as the others were perfect, I took all the nails off, and will keep them off while I hopefully finish the gardens next week, though it is suppose to rain everyday ggggrrrr. 

The twins 30th birthday is next Sunday........ Chris and Izzy (partner), have a week off, so going to see dad midweek and then come and stay here for a couple of days (I think)......

Anyway back later :)

I had watermelon and strawberries for breakfast, OMG I love Summer Fruit, can't wait till our trees etc have fruit again :). They weren't the nicest yet as it is early season, but I still enjoyed them :)

Made the macaroni, as it is easy to heat up :)

Ohhhh my little friend came back, sadly not for long a stupid Thrush chased it away :(

Can't believe next month, we have been here a year, I am finally happy with the kitchen cupboard layout..... now just need to repaint the doors, but some temp sticker tiling up over the brown tiles, and later we will put in a new oven, stove and dishwasher :). 

Well slight change of plans, I have Isaac for tonight and tomorrow night :).

Day 274 - What will Today Bring and its -1 Degree

Well today no real plans, except groceries at some stage :). Oh and might have Eli at some stage as Steph might take Isaac to the fair that is on here at Rotorua Lake Front later :). 

It was -1 degree and a huge frost out there, but do I still have the doors open oh yes I do, am I a bit chilly yes I am lol. But the sky is beautiful and blue :), the little wax-eyes are enjoying the oranges :), and it's now 3 degrees :). Enjoying my morning Iced Coffee :).

My lower back/Kidney area I think is feeling a little better, still sore but slightly better :). 

We were going to go to Dads today but with David being sick, we can't. On Thursday Dad had a rough day, both my sister and I thought that was it.... Hospice have been he has now got a toilet chair, hospice physio also came yesterday and they want someone with him when showering and also a walker so he can be more upright instead of his cane. We will see what is going to happen next week. He liked the physio so that was a bonus, and yes I did offer again to move in but got turned down, at this stage we take day by day :). 

Anyway back later :)

Well been a busy day but did not much, it feels like. Isaac and Eli came for a visit, groceries done..... Dinner is in the oven....... back is feeling better a little :)

Day 273 - Bugger me Days.....

Well another weekend is upon us nearly, not sure of plans yet, David has been off sick not sure if he is going to work today...... I do want to vacuum and mop the floors today and thats it, going in the thermal pool when Isaac has gone home later this morning. He had a good sleep, and has just had pancakes (leftovers) from last night. 

Anyway back later - oh and my lower back is still so sore.......

David went to work, Isaac dropped home, vacuuming and moping done, now I rest for the rest of the day, and later will get in the thermal pool. All the doors are open and lots of fresh air is coming through, and its peaceful kinda (apart from the traffic) lol. Was going to mow the lawns but putting that off till next week now, don't think my back will thank me for it...... I am wondering if it is my kidney playing up again..... 

2 doors down they are building a house or houses, and the trucks are coming all day picking up dirt, they pulled the old house down a few months ago. We don't see or hear anything from where we are apart from the trucks coming and going back with dirt :). 

So much for resting, I moved some lightish furniture around, if I keep moving, my back seems less sore...... in fact I think it might be slightly better :)

Since moving the furniture I have been resting, and the back seems still slightly better, I got to spend a bit of time with this little munchkin :)

He really is a breath of fresh air, and so is Isaac :)

Day 272 - My Butt is so Sore.....

My bum is so sore, think its from sitting on the hard floor yesterday doing the lower cupboards.....

Tonight Isaac is staying and cause he has no kindy tomorrow we will make dinosaur pancakes for breakfast.....

OMG I just turned the thermal heaters down and Saturday we are getting - 1 degree..... whoops, maybe I will turn them up again till after Saturday, can't have the puppies cold lol.

This morning, I have done the bathrooms and changed the bedding.... 

Thats me for now :)

Well another big job done, cleaned the pool room and shower....... will start using it again now lol. I had not swept it in ages and also did not clean it after the new shower put in. The drain needs something to happen it won't drain properly its also on the side of the wall not on the bottom which doesn't help. The whole room needs a paint job but thats a job for another day :)

Tomorrow after Isaac goes home, I am going to soak in the thermal pool, my lower back is so sore, and I am going to have a rest day and see if that helps..... we ended up having pancakes for dinner, that was what Isaac wanted and have enough left over for breakfast....

Day 271 - Midweek isn't it?.....

Well it's midweek again, these weeks are going to quick.....

Today's plans after kindy drop off, no lego thats for sure, right now I am over it, I am now doing all the little bits..... maybe I wont get a harder one next time, or maybe I wont get a new one at all.....

First thing is weeding the garden boxes.... then we will see, my lower back is still so sore.... need to start watering the gardens everyday again after this next lot of rain...... Spring is coming, I also turned down the thermal heating a bit yesterday....

Anyway thats me for now.....

Well decided to weed the garden boxes and now I need to do the ground level weeding, started some of it but the rest can wait for another day :) 

The top box is strawberries and going to put some cucumbers in it, the 2nd box will be tomatoes and lettuces :). 

The third photo is all the flowers on our plum tree....... I need to weed all the gardens below that, thats a big job but will work my way through it over the next few weeks :).  

Well all the lower kitchen cupboards are done, still need to go through and organise the draws but thats a job for another day, also need to do the higher up cabinets but again thats a job for tomorrow or the next day......

And its 17 degrees out there :). 

Well decided to finish the upper cabinets, they were quite quick, there's not a lot of stuff up there, and finished the draws, am glad that job is done :).

Day 270 - 17 Degrees Today......

Well today is suppose to hit 17 degrees, god i hope so......

Isaac had a good sleep, over 12 hours.... will do drop off at kindy, then wait for dad to come online for our daily video chat..... then have no idea, may start on the kitchen cupboards.

The haunted house lego, is so close to being finished, on the last bag, may try and finish it today :).

Anyway back later.....

Well continued with my Lego, then got frustrated with it - so am not doing it for a few days. I have a sore lower back, looked after Eli for a bit.... not sure if the lower back is from doing the lego and the way I am sitting....

Tomorrow I am going to start the kitchen cupboards and weed the garden boxes......

Anyway thats it for me, think I might pop in the thermal pool, think that will help with my back......

Day 269 - A New Week Starts.....

Well a new week starts again, woke up at 6am and had a shower, then did housework, dishwasher/washing on..... and thats all the jobs done for the day :).

Oh and have all the doors open, its a little chilly, but the fresh air is worth it :). 

Oh and tootooed a bit with the kitchen gadgets again, its getting there on how I like it and is working well :). Am going to get those kitchen cupboards done this week...... one way or another.... oh and want to clean the dishwasher :). 

Isaac is suppose to be coming tonight for the night, looking forward to that :).

Just checked out my lettuces and Silverbeet, and finally they are growing lol. 

Might even pick a lettuce leaf or two of for my wraps for dinner lol....

Well have had Isaac since 9am, been a long day...... I have a headache from hell...... I am wondering if it's from the themal heating lol. Hope not, hope it is stress related..... we did some more lego, it will be finished tomorrow hopefully.... Isaac's dad went back up North today....

Day 268 - End Of The Week Again.....

The start of the Lego, it is actually quite easy, well it is for 9+ lol. Think I will go for a harder one next, hopefully Isaac and I will finish it in the next few day's, he wants to do it with me :). 

Fuck we had some horrific wind last night and today it's still blowing heaps.....

Didn't do groceries yesterday, so that will be today's job :).

Well the day has been kinda lazy, did some gaming, then did groceries and thats about my afternoon. Was thinking of moving some stuff around but what I wanted to do wasn't going to work ggggrrrr lol. 

Anyway dads house got hit hard with the wind, he lost some of his fence and also his TV arial came down as well, so now he has no TV, we will prob go over next weekend and see what we can do with the arial and fence....

Day 267 - A Weekend Rolls Around Again.....

Todays jobs, groceries - yip thats it.......

Not sure what the rest of the day will bring.....

Exciting aye..... no rain so thats a positive, bloody cold though, but yip have all the doors open as usual :).

Well look whats returned, a Tui.... have not seen them for weeks...... he/she stayed about 20 minutes :). Oh and look at that beautiful blue sky :)

I have had Isaac all day, we played, watched some youtube, he played with Pa (David), then he helped to start the Lego and then we played Paw Patrol on the Xbox, he is now home with his dad....... so he had a good day :). 

I am not feeling the best........ so going to sign off, the bloody rain has come back gggggrrrrrr

Day 266 - Friday Again and it's....

Friday is here again, and it's raining...... and I just finished my nails....

I decided to go bright orange :).

Oh and also a photo of the puppies haircuts....

Not the best, but they wouldn't stay still for a photo...

Not sure what the rest of the day's plans are, time will tell I suppose :).

I babysat this little treasure again today, he has been sick and just starting to feel better :)

I am loving having him so close by.... I missed the first 6 months of Isaac, when they lived over 2 1/2 hours away, plus Covid......

Day 265 - What will today bring.....

Well another day in paradise.... ok not paradise but Rotorua......

The weather is nice, a bit chilly, but doesn't stop me from having all the doors open lol. I love fresh air through the house.....

Well dad's blood transfusion did nothing to help him......

No kindy today, poor Isaac is still sick, but I am not complaining, its nice not to drop off's lol. I woke early this morning, and did the housework, bathrooms, changed the bedding, and other bits n bobs, just need to vacuum which I will do soon then the jobs are done for today :).

Oh might even start doing the kitchen cupboards :).

Day 264 - Rain Rain Go Away.....

Well it is raining.... which means it is warm, which is good, considering the thermal is going to be turned off today at the racecourse, while they do some work on it. Our thermal comes from the race course....

No drop off to Kindy, Isaac is sick....

So I am going to make some banana cakes today... that should perk Isaac up :).

I think I might make some muffins as well, as I will have extra bananas.....

Well cakes made iced and one delivered to Steph and family..... I have been gaming, but kept losing so got frustrated and stopped, it is meant to be relaxing lol. I am not very good lol.

Day 263 - Cold But a Beautiful Day......

Drop of kindy done, just waiting on Eli to come for a couple of hours babysitting :). He seems to change overnight lol. 

Today is cold but a beautiful sunny day out there...

Just heard from Steph, apparently Eli is not coming.... :(. 

So I might start doing some stuff around the house, or I might start my lego or gaming.  

Who knows...... 

Well I did end up looking after Eli for a couple of hours, when Steph had an appointment. The Kids dad, picked Isaac up from kindy :). 

Dad is having a rough day.......

Prepped dinner, I was graving nacho's so thats what we are having :).

Tomorrow I will do the banana cakes and need to find a recipe for the lemons, maybe a curd or a slice :).

Anyway thats me for now, oh I did remove my nails this morning, will redo them on Thursday or Friday :). 

Day 262 - Puppies Groomers.....

Yesterday it was only Chris who came, Izzy had her last soccer game - it was nice though cause I got to have a good chat with Chris about things in private. We don't often get alone time :).

Today I need to drop the puppies of for their 6 weekly groom...... was thinking they might get a summer cut, but think it will be a spring cut :).

Isaac is coming tonight and when he gets dropped of at kindy tomorrow, I will have Eli for a few hours, so Steph can have a few hours break :). 

Might make a couple of banana cakes today, one for us and one for Steph... Isaac loves them :). 

I have cleaned the kitchen and moved a few pieces around that weren't working for us well me lol

Isaac is bathed fed and ready for bed....

Kindy drop off tomorrow and J (kids dad), will pick them up - yay I hate the pick ups lol. Tomorrow I will have Eli for a bit, have missed them :).

Day 261 - Happy Fathers Day.....

Heading of to dads soon, for a few hours, meeting Chris and Izzy there :).

I can't wait till next weekend and have a week of no travelling..... I think we are going to work on the garage, and it has not been really done since we moved in... so a full weekend job :)

Had a nice time at Dads, we were three hours and he was falling asleep when we left. As we went he said to Chris well this will be the last time I see you, until I meet you up there - (pointing upwards), it made me cry....., he knows his time is ending....

Day 260 - Hmmmmm

Well dad doesn't seem to feel any better with the transfusion, we are going over there tomorrow for Fathers Day and Chris and Izzy are meeting us there. We were going to take Steph and Eli but she has been sick so nope not happening. I will also get a few groceries he may need. 

Today, woke up early and did the washing, was going to do the kitchen cupboards, but can't be bothered so going to do them next week. So today will consist of groceries and thats it for now :)

Well had a cruisy day, did some gaming, miss the kids, they and Steph are sick again, so keeping my distance till after we see Dad tomorrow. Then I wont see him for a week or two as we need a break, he is tiring :).

Day 259 - Friday It Is.....

Well today got up about 6am, cleaned the bathrooms, changed the sheets, had my iced coffee for breakfast...

Was hoping to and still might clean out and just tidy up the kitchen cupboards, the pantry seems to working ok at this stage :). Will also vacuum and mop the floors soon :).

Going to make macaroni cheese today, the kids can also have some :). Also am going to put away my winter shoes and bring out the summer ones, in fact might do that soon :). 

Thats me for now.....

Shoes done, and I am missing a summer shoe..... I am sure it is somewhere, I tidied up the walk in Wardrobe a bit, started becoming if it don't fit anywhere then it goes in the wardrobe, vacuuming and floors mopped done, going to do the cupboards tomorrow :)

Just waiting on dad for our morning chat, and then might do some gaming :)

Macaroni Cheese done, just need to be baked for dinner. So all jobs done for the day, Oh Steph and I went to Kmart and I got a new Lego. I have this shelf in the kitchen which I am going to use for seasonal lego.....

So am now going to collect for Halloween :) Its pretty basic, but I think for me having only done one lego before (as an adult), this is a good starter piece :)

Day 258 - Home Today.....

I am struggling being here at dads, I really don't think he can stay at home much longer, unless the blood transfusion has worked a miracle..... We have organised a do not resuss and also at end of life, he has some medication to end it. This is what he wants and I believe it is also the best options now. He can barely get out of the chair now, it takes him many attempts..... and is so shaky and unstable.... its sad, but we all want him now (including him) to go in his sleep. 

I am leaving here in a few hours.....

Left a bit earlier, and back home now and it feels good, washing on, going to have a shower soon, get in my pjs and relax :). I am knackered, it takes a lot out of you being at the Cancer Centre for 6 hours plus the early morning getting up, drive etc :).

Day 257 - Finally Back at Dads.....

After getting up at 5am, to pick up Dad and get him to the Cancer Centre, and two lots of blood transfused, we are home...... it was a bloody long day...... will be going home tomorrow morning. I know he's my father but I struggle with old people..... lol

I don't really have much more to say, so this short and sweet

Day 256 - 2nd Day Of Spring.....

Today is going to be a cruisy day, have a long day tomorrow driving and sitting in a hospital. Well not the main hospital but the Cancer Centre......

I will drop Isaac of at kindy this morning and Steph will do pick up and tomorrows kindy drop off and pick up. The kids dad is back down to help out.....

I think I might have to turn the heating down a bit, it's getting a bit hot in the house now :). 

I might do a bit of rearranging with the kitchen bench (well not the bench but the many appliances on it lol).

Anyway thats me for now :)

Oh here are photos of the 2/6 Silverbeet that survived and the 4/6 lettuces.    

Looks like I will be staying at Dad's tomorrow night..... after his transfusion :)

Day 255 - Spring is here......

Fuck at last Spring is here.... Daylight Savings starts this month, in fact on the twins 30th birthday :)

Forgot to mention yesterday, we are also getting hospice in for an assessment.......

I am currently watching the last race of IndyCar for the year, then after that my mission is to empty, clean and rearrange the pantry and kitchen exciting stuff :). 

I think I have Isaac for a bit as well this morning :). 

And thats me for now :)

Pantry done, might tweak a few things but time will tell...... 

On Wednesday, dad is having his blood transfusion, he will stay at my sisters in Tauranga tomorrow night, and I will pick him up there and go to the cancer centre in Tauranga, has to be there between 8.30am - 9am, so means we don't need to get caught in rush hour traffic, dad can no longer get up really early to get there, then I will drop him home, and depending on how he feels, I will come back to Rotorua, or stay there for the night. The transfusion will take anything from 3-6 hours, so will be a fun long day lol.
