Day 223 - Haircut Today......

This afternoon, I get a haircut, going back to my Pixie cut..... I have missed it...

Things are settling down, dad is getting worse and each day is a bonus, yes sometimes I get shitty with having to wait for dad to ring etc, but we all know his days are numbered..... The district nurses are worried about dads lymph-nodes are leaking really bad, basically all he does now is sleep and on his computer playing solitaire.... I have offered to move in, but he feels that will be more stress lol. I think he will get more home help....

Anyway Isaac will be here soon, for kindy drop off, David has been home he is sick....

Haircut done and fuck it feels good.....

Day 212.... Haircut Tomorrow...

I have just booked a haircut for tomorrow, I will prob go blonde again next time.... I am going back to my pixie cut and can't wait, hoping that will be boost my mood up again... I can't seem to get out of the funk.....

The wind was so bad last night and the rain, about 1.30am I could hear this loud banging and finally found it was a hard plastic sheet banging against a post, it had come lose at the bottom, the neighbours were up as well, all there lights on, no doubt due to the banging as it had been going a good 30 min before we discovered what it was, it was right next door to their house..... on our side. 

Isaac had a rough night, due to the wind and rain as well I think, he is not staying tonight. Last night I thought I was coming down with something but think I had a chill from getting soaked and cold dropping and picking Isaac up.....

Fuck I can't wait till my haircut tomorrow, I am also going to do my nails on Friday and hopefully I will feel better about myself :).

Anyway not much else to say for today, catch you tomorrow - will try and take a before photo of my hair and an after.....

Day 211 - Kindy Drop Off Again.....

Here we are back to kindy drop off's, Isaac will be staying tonight, he will be staying every Tuesday night at this stage, and then hopefully Wednesday nights as well.....

Trip to dad went well, Eli was a little trooper, we got some photos, we ended up only staying about 1 1/2 hours as dad started falling asleep, and it worked out well with the timings of Eli's feeds. I did his grocery shopping as well. 

And its raining again, at least it's not cold......

Day 210 - Whoops Didn't Come back....

Whoops as per usual, didn't com back yesterday.... well obviously nothing happened, think I gamed :).

Today we are off to dad's so he can meet Eli, it has been a while since I saw him, just really struggling with seeing him struggling, though I do talk via video every day, or most days twice a day. Must get lots of photo's...

Puppies are getting groomed today, David will pick them up and drop them off, they go to a groomers about half an hour away, she has groomed them since we had Chico, so all of Rusty's life and he is now 11 years old. 

I am currently watching IndyCar, it should finish just before we leave :).

Day 209 - Groceries....

WTF another month nearly over, I thought we had 2 months left of winter, but we only have just over a month.....

Right now I am just watching the recorded IndyCar Qualifying.... tomorrow is the race, and we are off to dads, well Steph, Isaac and Eli are.... we need to get some photos of dad, Eli and Isaac.... and he has still to meet Eli. 

Todays plans groceries and thats it, which means I might have to play some Donkey Kong...

Will I be back later, maybe but who knows as I say I will then never do lol.

Oh and after those 3 mice caught, we have had no more phew....

The little wax eyes are so loving the oranges.... Oh my chilblain toes are now slowly getting better thanks to wearing socks......

I am itching to start doing some work in this house, first job (I think) is painting the dark wood walls,  this end the lounge end we get no real sun, I am wanting to lighten it, but in two minds cause, it is really 70's at the moment and will it lose the look....

Ignore the shitty fence, we will be redoing it this summer..... and moving it slightly....

The roof beams are brown though the photo looks like black..... we have slanting ceilings and the middle end they are so high..... we would prob leave the beams the colour they are.... oh and above the wooden walls, we would probably leave the colour they are off white for now :)

Any suggestions, anything but white, cream or grey. I want colour but a light colour :). 

Day 208 - Another week nearly over.....

Today David is working, I don't have much planned, had a crap sleep last night.....

Can really tell the days are getting longer, it is just after 7am, and so light outside, and at night it is light till about 5.30pm. Its only 2 degree's but it feels so much warmer.....

Yesterday I got lots of baby cuddles :).

Day 207 - Bloody Frosts....

Well there are now only 2 silver-beets left, the frost hit them hard this week lol. But the lettuces are doing well, we still have 4 out of the 6.

Todays plans, not sure..., its bloody cold that I know for sure, but it also means a nice day ahead :).

The little wax eyes are still loving the oranges, need to put new ones out there today......

Day 206 - Thursday and Struggling....

Steph is struggling with Eli, he just seems to be upset no matter what milk etc she tries, she is lacking in sleep and really grumpy.... this in return is stressing me out.... there are many advantages to her living in the back unit, but sometimes I just feel cause I am so close, she takes me for granted, there are other things, that I wont get into here..... and if I wasn't so close she would need to cope....

Anyway another chilly morning, but it is going to be a nice day again.......

Housework this morning and then not sure :)

I ended up having a nice cuddle with Eli, which cheered me up, then I played Playstation for the rest of the afternoon. 

Isaac wanted to stay at his mums tonight, so was happy about that :)

Still dont feel much better but hey....

Day 205 - Can't Believe Next Week is August.... oh and Winter....

Today not much to report, Isaac stayed last night, he is just having breakfast and then in about an hour will drop him off at kindy..... Isaac is watching Peter Rabbit and having breakfast from his Peter Rabbit plates lol.

Yesterday I finally put some nails in the old fence, and stuck some oranges to it, the little wax-eyes are loving it, hopefully the Tui's will find them as well eventually :). 

Another cold frost out there again this morning, David is off to Hamilton this morning for work.....

Today's plans, talk to Dad..... and not sure what else....

One thing about the cold mornings, the days are just bliss, chilly but sunny :)

Day 204 - Plans for today - Not really any :).

Today's plans, drop Isaac of at kindy :).

Meant to put this photo up yesterday.but as you can see I didn't come back whoops... but I did have a good excuse I was looking after this little munchkin for a while :)

Eli was one month old on Sunday :)

It feels so good to be able to spend so much time with Isaac and Eli..... when Isaac was born, Steph lived in Auckland and it was also with covid, so hardly got to see Isaac for the first 6 months.... I am going to treasure time with Eli and Isaac :)

Anyway back later (hopefully) lol. 

Well the day is coming to an end, Isaac has been good and helping me to play Astrobot, he is getting quite good at it lol. 

Time for him to go to bed soon :)

Day 203 - Watching Recorded IndyCar....

There was no way in hell, I was getting up at 4am to watch IndyCar, so am up watching the recording and not trying to see the results anywhere.... and just like that Scotty Mac is out on 3rd lap, his wheel came off, the nut was not on properly, whoops to the pit team.....

Another nice frost out there, we have had minus 3, 0 and minus 1 the last three mornings..... and a, tempted to turn the heaters up a bit more as the next week, it is going to be chilly mornings.....

Todays plans, a PJ Day, do the usual like washing etc. and then housework and thats about it and oh of course pay some Donkey Kong Bonanza....

Day 202 - Sunday Yet Again....

Where the frigg are these days going, Eli is one month old today....

Isaac stayed the night, he is just out with David walking the dogs, then he will go home :). 

Groceries later today and thats about it :).

Oh pancakes made cause Isaac wanted them for breakfast....

Well am back been playing Nintendo Switch Donkey Kong Bananza and, mowed the lawns, Steph did the back by her place, it looks nice :). 

Went and got groceries now having, well making homemade hamburgers for dinner :).

Day 201 - A Saturday....

Tonight we are going to try and have Isaac, he just wants to be with Mum and baby (as he calls him)...

Today not much planned prob, groceries and thats about it, David will hopefully take Issac to the park.... It is bloody cold this morning, a really nice frost out there.... we have -1 degrees..... wonder if this will kill my silverbeet and lettuces off lol. 

Currently watching the first practice from IndyCar right now.....

Day 200 - Friyay Again........

Well today is going to be an exciting day for me, I am going to play Donkey Kong for a lot of it, I am sure a visit from Steph, Isaac and Eli will be o the cards.... no kindy today :).

First up vacuuming and then I am going to make a 2 Lemon Cakes for Steph and us........ Need to use those lemons, oh checked out my lettuces and Silverbeet I planted many weeks ago, which I thought would not grow because we had heavy winds and rain, well checked them yesterday, and they are growing, still very tiny but alive lol. 

Anyway first up is vacuuming, which I am going to start now and then find a recipe for the cakes :)

Waiting for dad to come online, then I can play Donkey Kong :)

Day 199 - Wonder what today will bring.....

Today I pick up this game.... am I excited just a little... hoping to pick it up after I drop of Isaac :)

Isaac didn't stay last night, think he just wanted to go home and play with his birthday presents - fair enough :)

I do have some housework to do this morning, and need to drop Isaac of at kindy..... I will see if he stays tonight, but somehow doubt it.... Everyone at kindy yesterday loved his haircut :).

Day 198 - Sunny for now.....

Well it is sunny currently but just waiting for the rain to start again soon....

Did morning drop off to kindy this morning, am hoping to have Isaac here for tonight, time will tell on that one :).

Oh yesterday I did my first official baby sitting of Eli, mum and dad took Isaac out to timezone for his birthday. Can't believe he is 4 weeks on Friday.....

Day 197 - Happy 4th Birthday Isaac...

Happy Birthday Isaac, I know you will prob never see this but hey you might one day :)

This morning, went out to get wrapping paper and wrapped the presents, they are coming here this afternoon, for an early dinner and cake :). We are having Pizza :).

Fuck it is so nice having a bit of sun, though it's already going behind the clouds.....

Day 196 - A Rough Night.....

Isaac stayed and we had kinda a rough night, his cough was so bad, his inhaler wouldn't work, not sure if it is a lingering cough from Covid or what......

Today's plans, some housework, oh and pick up the car round lunchtime, it is in for a service.....

Once Isaac goes, I may go with Steph to get Eli's hearing checked, then go shopping for a few more toys for Isaac's birthday tomorrow, I never normally leave it this late.... but with new baby arrival and my cancer scare, I just sort of put it off. We are just having pizza etc for dinner (an early one), and cake here tomorrow :). 

Been a busy day, Isaac went home about 12ish, then Steph and I took Eli to his hearing test, which he passed little trooper :). We then went to Farmers and got Isaac some more birthday presents, need to get some wrapping paper and card tomorrow. Then went and picked up his cake which is now sitting in our fridge, after that we took Isaac to get his hair cut, he was so good :).

He got a mullet and love's it :).

And now am stuffed.....

Day 195 - IndyCar/Isaac Maybe/Gaming maybe.....

Whoops didn't get back yesterday, I was happily playing games all afternoon :).

Today I am going to watch Indycar, then going to try and have Isaac for the night, will it happen god knows, his birthday is Tuesday and need to get him some more presents, and wont have a car tomorrow as it's going in for a service. 

IndyCar is about to start at 9am, its been raining and tornado watches there so mot much action has been happening...... over the last day or so. 

OMG I slept in till 7.45am this morning, pure bliss....

Had me shower, washing on and thats all on todays agenda, apart from getting some supermarket stuff.... and Isaac's presents, could even do that Tuesday Morning if need be :).

Day 194 - Weekend....

Don't have much planned, didn't game yesterday so going to do that later after I have talked to Dad.

193 - Friday at last.....

Been a long one this week, yesterday was a hard day mentally, and I think it is cause David has been supposedly working from home and then changed it to leave so have had no real time out.... he better be back at work on Monday.... his excuse Covid in the office.....

Anyway Chris and Izzy are not coming down this weekend, they are going to visit dad still though :(. 

Today bedding changed and in the wash, think today I will do gaming and maybe do some colouring, now the area is all set up nice. 

Back later - oh an no kindy today, he goes 3 days a week Tuesday - Thursday :) 

Steph and I took Eli to get his bloods done for his JKa Antigen levels, will get results back later today, but am sure they will be fine, as he does not look like jaundice or anything....

Went to JB Hifi and purchased a little Astrobot Collectable and a game.....

The game is Death Stranding.... they have the second one out as well now, but wanted to play this one first, so going to play that soon :)

192 - Relieved.......

I am relieved the results came back excellent news.....

Eli is doing well now after his covid.... Steph and Isaac are nearly back to normal.... Fuck I thought it was Friday today, but its only Thursday.... . Chris and Izzy are coming down this weekend to meet his nephew, then he will go and see dad on the way home :)

Speaking of dad, things are not going well for him, his lymph nodes  are leaking and is bleeding so much. The nurses are talking about hospice but he doesn't want that. His heart is really struggling now as well...... I hope he goes in his sleep.....

Last night I had the urge to shift the sunroom around again, I made it into my colouring desk area.  

The unit at the back is where Steph lives.... I prob should have not done it at night, I had a crap sleep cause I was so sore......

And my darling little grandson...

He really is a treasure....

Well I hit a funk, and for some reason felt really down, went to Steph and got some cuddles from Eli. I think I overdid it last night with moving heavy stuff around but am liking how the dinning/sunroom is starting to look like :).

Day 191 - Should Get Confirmed Results Today.....

Well today is the day I should get confirmation of the biopsy...... I don't hear it from the Brest Surgeon, but from Canopy Imaging.... so hoping what info they give me will be correct, it wont be till this afternoon though.

We have caught three mice so far, we are keeping the door shut from now on.... They only seem to be under the sink.... hmmm maybe there is a hole under there they are getting in and not the door. Time will tell I suppose.

Isaac stayed last night, and going home today after kindy, I am still doing drop offs and pick ups.......

Well I am still waiting on the phone-call, Monday when they rung,  it was about 4.30pm,  so there is still time :).

The news is in, it all came back benign and no pre-cancerous cells :)

2 major stresses now gone :) 

Day 190 - Chilly Chilly Chilly and Some Possible Good News.....

Got a phone-call from Canopy Imaging yesterday and from what she can see the results look good, but she needs to confirm after the doctors have reviewed it tomorrow, so will get back to me tomorrow afternoon. Feeling relieved but will feel even more relieved after tomorrow :)

Man a good frost this morning..... speaking of cold, yesterday I was wiping all the bences down and thought hmmmmm that looks like mouse poop, but didn't get to concerned, this morning I was emptying the under sink rubbish bin and man a ton of mice poos...... I think they came in through the back door, which is open all day for the puppies, but from now on it will be closed..... at least until warmer weather....  

Isaac did stay the night and ended up sleeping just over 12 hours, he will be back at kindy today, I am going to try and keep him one more night but not sure f he will :).

Day 189 - Indycar....

 IndyCar is on, it started at 5.30am or maybe 5am, I am watching the recorded version, I was not in the mood to get up early.... I can certainly notice the slightly longer days and am here for it :). Spring is so close yet so far lol.

Tonight I am hoping to have Isaac to stay, said I would make him pancakes, he is no longer contagious..... but still not 100%, poor old Eli had a rough day yesterday...., am hoping yesterday was the worst day and he gets a bit better today.... Both David and I have not had Covid, and this was Steph's first time.....

Anyway back later....

Well have done this mornings housework, will wait for dad to come online and video call then I will make the pancakes in time for Isaac, don't really want him helping me today with just having covid lol. 

Chris and his partner Izzy are planning to come down this weekend to meet Eli, they will only be here for one night :). 

Plan to enjoy a bit of sun outside again this morning :). 

Well just sat outside having breakfast, well more likely lunch (a pancake), I made one pancake for breakfast and then made the rest huge pikelets, some with Choc Chips for Isaac....

Day 188 - Another Week Nearly Over.....

Time is going fast normally, but right now it is going so slow.... as I wait for my appointment with the breast surgeon, or at the least a phone call......

Todays plans, nothing absolutely nothing, had a shower, put the dishes away from the dishwasher, and washing on, thats it for today, oh except move the washing to the dryer and then fold it... exciting stuff I tell you :).

Today we have been busy bee's, in our thermal pool area, we had this big cupboard in there since we moved in, thought it would be a good idea but nope it took up to much room, so out it went into the garage. I also tidied up the back patio area..... it was so nice to have it tidy again and sitting outside in the sun....

Then I shifted a few things around inside the sunroom and dinning room..... Steph and Isaac popped around for a bit we kept a safe distance apart and were outside. Tomorrow am going to put out some oranges out the front and back and see if I can get the Tui's to come a bit closer - I hear them and see them in the tree's will put the oranges on the fence :). 

Oh also did some gaming, so all in all a good productive day :)

Day 187 - Was really hoping.....

Was really hoping that I would have heard back yesterday about the results.... Yeah I know the Hamilton place (I-med), said after next Wednesday, (which they would more than likely be the right place to know), but the breast surgeon in Rotorua said within 5 days, and yip I know 5 days wasn't officially Friday but......

We were going to go to Dad's today but the weather is suppose to be crappy and in all honesty I am in a bit of a grump anyway. 

Not sure of todays plans, maybe gaming, grocery shopping, or maybe gaming, hell might even watch some Netflix.... I have so many things I started watching and never finished....

Steph and Isaac both have Covid.... hope Eli doesn't have it, last night Steph said he was coughing and sneezing..... 

Have been gaming this afternoon, was nice, once Isaac comes back clear I am going to try and get him here for a couple of nights, poor Steph is struggling.... and next week will be tough as I hope to hear back from the biopsy results :). So Isaac will be a nice distraction, oh and poor Eli we think has it as he seems quite sick, so keeping a very close eye on it, though everywhere it says babies usually get a mild dose of it.

Day 186 - Where the F did.......

Where the fuck did yesterday go..... I did a bit of gaming, did some housework, did some baby cuddles and then it was 6.30pm. It as a good day though. 

Baby Eli is 2 weeks today, time is going to fast :).

The whole family got sick, but they are all getting better now. Lucky Eli didn't get it to bad :). 

Today need to vacuum and do a few other things around the house, I might bake but might not either lol. 

Tomorrow we are hoping to get to dad's. been a while as I needed to be here if Steph went into labour, and also appointments for my breast. 

Anyway hope to be back later bit who knows :)

Well did the vacuuming and moved a bit of furniture around...... did I mention by boob is itchy lol. Its also black and blue lol. Did I overdo the moving furniture, yes maybe because my boob stated bleeding today whoops - best I don't do much more today except some gaming lol.

Day 185 - Another day.....

Where the fuck did June go..... and Eli is 2 weeks old tomorrow already..... Did I do gaming yesterday NO.... maybe today :)

I am really hope I hear back from my biopsy earlier than later.... I could potentially hear back anytime from today, if they come back conclusive non-cancerous or pre-cancerous...... and my boob is so itchy, which is good :)

And guess what it's bloody raining again.... suppose to get worse this afternoon with heavy winds and rain. 

Day 184 - Today another rest day.....

Today is another rest day, I am dying to change some furniture around but can't till at least tomorrow :( 

Poor Steph, they are all sick now......

I picked some lemons yesterday, so might do some baking today and drop some of at Steph's as well. 

Not sure what else to do today, might game.....

Day 183 - Day After Biopsy....

All in all I am feeling ok, I had a good sleep, the biopsy itself was ok, it was laying in an uncomfortable position for 45 minutes that was a struggle the biopsy was less than 5 minutes..... they would do something check the machines to see it was in the right position, and I was not allowed to move and the machine squished my boob, I am glad it's done, now to wait for the results, which she said would more than likely be next week, as the doctors meet every Wednesday and discuss the results from everyone.....

The waiting room had lots of pink ribbons etc...

The little room where you change was tiny and pretty stickers and a saying...

Back later.... and there I am waiting...... 

Had my daily cuddles with Eli, and a hugs from Isaac..... 

Been resting today, pain is pretty much gone and it's itchy as lol. 

Tomorrow I am hoping to use some of our lemons with baking :)
