Day 152 - 2025.... Whoops...

Whoops didn't get back yesterday, ended up having Isaac for the afternoon. Steph is 35 weeks today, and she can not wait till the baby pops out.... she has another scan in about a weeks time, then another specialist appointment.... I think the birthing plan will be finalised then.

David is working today......

Today might get some gaming in..... didn't do any yesterday.

Anyway thats it from me for now.....

I have just rearranged the sun/craft room, once again. I managed to delete one bookshelf in there, so it doesn't look as cluttered. Once we get the leaks fixed I will make it into a proper sun room :). There are two leaks not bad, just put a bucket under when it rains :). We are not sure what we want to do with it, if to keep it a glass roof or what....... Next week will try and remember to take some photos of the place inside :). 

Tomorrow we are off to dads to get his groceries :). Then my niece will do the following week :)

Steph and Isaac visited, I finished doing the craft area, in the dinning room, feel good about it in there now. Set up my colouring station...... now I might go and game :).

Day 151 - 2025 - Friday......

 Its Friday - yay....... well actually I don't really care what day it is...... David has gone to work and started early.....

So I have the day to myself.... my throats feeling a little sore, hopefully it is nothing :). 

Todays plans, nothing really, changed the bedding, washing and tidying up where the elctrician has been - which will only take a couple of minutes :). 

Didn't game yesterday, so might do some today, this time next week, I will have the Nintendo Switch 2 :).

Day 150 - 2025 - Hot. Hot, Hot......

 Hot - no not me, well me but in a hot warm way....... it is so fucking hot and muggy, and all it has done is rain, and the humidity does not make it any better..... The electrician was here for 5 hours and will be back next week to put a garage light in, in the middle of the garage and fix two more switches....... 

Today dropping Isaac of at kindy, and then housework, David has taken today off ggggggrrrrrr. 

Maybe time to play some gaming again, have not done it this week ...

Housework done, Groceries done, Steph has a lump on her arm, they want to do a biopsy before she has the baby....... poor girl can't get a break.... Going to hop in the thermal pool later today.....

Day 149 - 2025 - Nearly the Shortest Day......

Well another day, and its just under 1 month, till the shortest day of the year..... bloody yay.... then I will be bitching how hot it is...

I need to turn the heaters back down, it is to hot in this house... I hope to get in the thermal pool today, after I drop Isaac at kindy, and the electrician has been...

Electrician is here doing some stuff, like changing a few switches and also doing some stuff in the unit... where Steph is :). 

Got wet dropping Isaac of, felt a bit weird knowing there is one child no longer never going there again..... just sad seeing the name etc.... He wants me to pick him up so thats what I will be doing....

Was going to go in the thermal pool, but not when there is a young quite nice looking male here doing work, and I am sure he doesn't want to see a 60+ year old fat women in there either lol. 

Day 148 - 2025..... Mammogram Day.....

Today first thing, I have my 2 yearly mammogram.....

Went to Steph's baby scan, and got to see him, got a little 3d photo of his face, but the little man kept putting his hand in front of his face, currently she is 34 Weeks and 3 Days, and he weighs about two and a half kilo's, so the same weight as Isaac when he was born at 38 weeks :). I will prob have Isaac tonight :). 

Want to rearrange the kitchen again, not quite happy with it yet...... its only taken 7 months, its not major changes but little tweaks.... lol.

Mammogram done, they have a new machine, and it was so easy, and took only a few minutes to get all the x-ray thingies done.... :)

Also mission today to find my Swiss-Ball, so that I could restart doing my balance exercises on it, found and pumped up, and even used it lol.

Oh man I have lost so much balance not good at my age.....

Isaac is here, about to do his dinner, nuggets.... lol. Was going to have a soak in the thermal pool, but that might be tomorrow now. We have left over casserole for dinner and French Stick, so easy peasy....

Day 147 - 2025.... Indycar.......

Well today I am watching Indycar, it has just started due to rain delay..... God knows where I got it started at 2am from, but lucky I double-checked and it started, well was suppose to start at 4.45am, but it is starting now...

Today I am going with Steph to her 34 week baby scan.....

Isaacs kindy is closed today, due to the funeral of one of the children there, who passed away in a car accident last week, so so sad :(.

Not much else to report....

Holy Fuck.... Scotty Mac is out before the race began, he was warming up tires and spun out and hit the wall.....

Well this has been an interesting IndyCar - 8 cars out dues to crashes and fires etc, think there have been more yellows than actual racing, laps are counted with IndyCar yellows..... and just only over half way..... 

Day 146 - 2025 - Pancakes for Breakfast.....

Isaac ended up staying the night, he was such a good boy.... and he is still sleeping and its after 7am lol. So for breakfast we are making pancakes, and he loves maple syrup, you can't have pancakes without maple syrup according to him lol. 

Poor old Steph she really is struggling, I am so glad I am here to help..... 

No real plans today, am not talking to David, so Isaac is a nice blessing :).

Day 145 - 2025...... Feeling better....

Feeling better today, can cough without the back being to bad.....

Steph got her latest blood tests back and her titers are still low for Jka Antibodies, so thats brilliant news, she is 34 weeks today, and she can't wait now till the baby comes, she is over it all :). 

Am watching IndyCar, Carb Day - (Final Practice), well it's recorded and am watching it now. Indy500 starts Monday morning, 2am - might get up might not lol.

Day 144 - 2025.... I am Sick...... Sad day....

Yesterday, I started to feel crappier as the day went on, I feel like crap this morning, my lower back is really sore especially when I cough..... and think I am getting a head cold......

So today I have changed the bedding and now just going to relax, except fold the washing when it is done....

We were going to go to the Tauranga Farmers Market tomorrow, but it's going to be icy, and the back road is horrible and windy when it's like that - and right now I just feel to crappy. But who knows might wake up tomorrow with all this energy lol. 

Anyway feel today will be a Netflix day.... speaking of Netflix, watched the 'Secrets We Keep' yesterday..... was interesting lol

Sad day, we found out today that the little girl who passed away in a car accident yesterday, went to the same kindy as Isaac, just so sad......

Makes my back pain and cold seem so trivial......

Day 143 - 2025 - What will today bring......

Today no real plans after housework....

It is bloody cold this morning, but it is a beautiful blue sky out there, and need to make the most of it, the rain is coming supposedly. 

Housework done, except for vacuuming.....

Now waiting on dad to video chat - dum de doo.......

Well floors mopped and am free for the rest of the day..... now what to do - hmmmmm gaming sounds good after some lunch lol.

Well its so bloody cold, I have shut the curtains in my PJ's and dressing gown, turned the heating up lol and trying to get my back better, every time I cough, my back hurts like hell, and getting back spasms....... so cuddled up in a blankie and hoping that will help, and going to watch Netflix.....

Day 142 - 2025..... Been a nice time....

Had a nice couple of days with Isaac, he is going home today, just cooked him hash browns for breakfast at his request.... dropping him of at kindy soon :). 

Today, not sure at this stage I am picking him up from Kindy, but he might change his mind before I drop him off lol. 

OMG finally it is getting colder, went and got the rubbish bin in and it was just a little chilly......

Oh yesterday at Kindy, Isaacs fringe was getting in the way so they did this..... Ignore the sauce etc on his mouth, he had just eaten nuggets and sauce. 

He loved it so much, he wanted it in all night and this morning, he is going back to kindy like this lol. 

Anyway back later maybe :). 

And just like that the house is quiet again...... I do miss him, even though he lives in the unit behind us.... anyway he wanted me to pick him up from kindy, I asked him why not mummy, and he said "I love you so much Oma" it was so special :). 

Anyway better think about dinner I suppose, catch you all tomorrow :)

Day 141 - 2025..... So so....

Today I drop Isaac of at kindy, then come back to put dinner in the crockpot, and do housework....

He had an OK night, didn't go down till 9pm - and up at 7am.... about to make him some scrambled egg and toast for breakfast.

Another beautiful day out there, though a little chilly....

Lets see if I am back later or not....

Day 140 - 2025..... GGGGRRRRRRR

Its 5am and I am up, David was bloody snoring so freakin loud......

The good news IndyCar practice is on, the bad news is Scotty M (NZ driver), just had a massive crash, in a practice round, (he's OK), and qualifying is later on today :(. Well just been announced Scott is out of qualifying, but I think from what they said he will start 12th next week at the Indy 500.

Todays plans - watching qualifying, would be nice if Scott Dixon, or Will Power, could take poll..... anyway enough of IndyCar.

House work this morning, then lunchtime ish, Isaac will come :), looking forward to it, poor Steph, she looks so tired, I am hoping Isaac will stay for 3 nights.... to give her a nice break. 

Anyway talk soon, not sure if I will be back, tend to get distracted with Isaac here, but a nice distraction. 

Day 139 - 2025 - Another week nearly over......

Today, no plans, have a little grocery shop to do.....

No IndyCar on today :(, but tomorrow morning early is qualifying :)

And it's raining today, just a nice little amount, and only suppose to last till tomorrow.

Tomorrow, I am having Isaac, for 2 or so nights, depending on his mood lol. I have not seen much of him lately, as his dad has been down, think he's going home tomorrow :).

Day 138 - 2025..... Saturday it is......

Well it's Saturday, and I have been up since 5.30am GGGGGGRRRRRRRR.....

Had another shit sleep, so extra grumpy today......

Marketplace pick up is today, she paid me last night, so have just left it out on the doorstep, so I don't need to talk to people....

IndyCar is on, well was on - I recorded it and am now watching it, it is Fast Friday.... and goes for about 6 hours, lucky I can fast forward all the crap... like adds etc.....

Now I am waiting for Dad to go online... which will be another hour or two from now......

Finally at 10am dad came online, he had not had a good morning, heart wise..... :(.

Say 137 - 2025.... Yay its Friday....

In all honestly, it may be Friday, but a day is a day..... I have been up since before 6am, changed the bedding, cleaned the bathrooms, had a crap nights sleep, so am a grumpy bitch today. 

Watching Indy-car practice, its basically 2 weeks of Indy-car, for the Indy-car 500 in about 10 days time :). We have 3 kiwi's in it, so go them :).

Feeling a bit down today, not sure if it's lack of sleep or what.....

Can't believe Steph is 33 weeks pregnant tomorrow. She has blood tests regularly and providing they come back ok, she can hold on another week. Once baby arrives they will keep a close on him, as he is high risk anaemic. 

Anyway back later :)

Steph is nesting lol - she is doing a huge clean..... I have not really done much, sold something on Facebook Market Place, she was suppose to pick up today, but didn't, so apparently will pick up tomorrow, I must admit I hardly sell anything on Market Place anymore, to many bloody scammers out there......

Anyway thats me.... I am tired, Friday night means take out yay - no cooking :)

Day 136 - 2025..... What will today bring....

This morning, I have done all the housework I needed to do, except vacuuming, that will be done soon..... prepped mince for dinner, and now waiting on Dad for our daily video call....

3 weeks today, till the Nintendo Switch 2 release :)

Got an email the other day, Mammogram is due, so better book that, can do that online apparently :)

Anyway maybe or maybe not be back later :)

Day 135 - 2025.... Where has today gone.....

Today has gone by so fast, Steph was not doing well, so I dropped Isaac of at kindy, then I had an appointment for my Diabetic Eye test, I went in early hoping they could fit me in on the way home, rather than going home and going back into town, and they could, all looking good and didn't need the eye drops, so could drive home :). 

Oh and I preordered the Nintendo Switch 2, I have the first one and love the games on there, reminds me of when the kids were young and we played on the Nintendo. It arrives on the 5th June....... Right now I am playing Zelda on the original switch :). 

The rest of the day, I have been doing housework, and playing Zelda.......

Day 134 - 2025..... Overdid it.......

Yesterday I overdid it, moving heavy furniture around - whoops. 

The other day I mentioned Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, in my right hand, it meant to say Cubital Tunnel Syndrome, it does  gets worse at night, if my elbow gets bent and also when gaming whoops...... my little and ring finger gets tingly and numb...... its a weird feeling, not really sore but annoying lol. 

Today's plans not much my left wrist (arthritis) is pretty sore and my knee which needs a TKR.

Day 133 - 2025.... Another Week Begins....

Today I have been a busy bee, doing my Monday jobs, cleaning out the fridge, getting out my winter shoes (Doc Martins and Converse, and put away majority of the summer shoes. 

Puppies are at the groomers, man these six weeks come along quick.... so will need to go and pick them up later this morning. Its about an half an hour away....

It looks like its going to be another nice sunny day :). 

This is what Isaac gave me for Oma's day....

The one with his name on it, is his attempt of a heart next to him, and apparently I am knocking on his door for a visit lol. I love these presents.... Oh and Mothers Day ended up being crappy...... 

Puppies are home and all smelling lovely...... I have done heaps of rearranging furniture lol. 

Oh man, putting baby stuff together is doing my head in, Steph and I have just spent 2 hours doing her co-sleeper.... nearly finished, I will finish it tomorrow, she is now over 32 weeks pregnant.....

Day 132 - 2025 - Did I or Didn't I....

Well did I go for a walk - nope slept in (Which I hardly Ever Do), and by the time I got up and showered, it was time to watch Indycar, what a good day to watch it on Mothers Day.....

Today Steph/Partner and Isaac are coming for lunch, we are just ordering in some Pizza etc... will be nice as Indycar finishes at 11am :). 

More on the SIL house Fire, it was the toaster that started it, not the plug, apparently the toaster thingees you push down, were down..... The assessor came yesterday and they are doing a rebuild, redoing the inside stuff..... the outside is still good, but will need a new roof, windows etc, and everything inside will need redoing..... It will take 6 - 9 months.....

Oh and regarding the gym etc, forget my thought process from yesterday.... I know it wouldn't work lol. 

Day 131 - 2025.... And boy did we have rain.....

Wow did it rain yesterday - and it was nice to know our house doesn't leak except the sunroom, which we knew about :). Still not sure what we are going to do there. 

Well yesterday ended up on a sad note, my sister in law's and hubby's house caught fire, pretty bad damage, they will know more today after the accessor has been. Apparently it caught fire from a toaster plug inside the pantry. No one was home.... and they have no pets. 

Today not sure what the plans are, but it is sunny so am happy about that - Isaac was going to go to this racecourse thing, but last night he was up vomiting all night, so prob wont be going now. 

David is doing overtime today :). 

This was me yesterday..... 

Till I realised how lucky we are after the house fire....

I have been thinking, now we have shifted the pool is further away and out of the way, i have a gym 1km away, (in fact the previous gym I went too). I am thinking starting tomorrow I am going walking, I can do it anytime, and its all flat where I am - and once I get to a reasonale fitness, I can walk to the gym and do a workout and walk home, its probably quicker if I cut through the racecourse.... Parking is an issue at this gym, so walking will be good for me, it can be my warm up :). 

Well thats my current thought process, so wish me luck that I actually do the walk :). 

Day 130 - 2025.... Rain Rain and more Rain.....

Man we had some heavy bloody rain yesterday afternoon and through the night, and fuck it was bloody muggy and hot...... yes I am in a grump.....

Am I going to the pool  - I could say yes, but I am not, I slept like crap, my right hand carpel tunnel is playing up and just feel blah.... It really goes to show how much weather influences my mood.

Day 129 - 2025..... It looks like rain - AGAIN.....

I knew the nice Autumn days were to good to last, at least this time the rain is suppose to last only three days :). 

Yesterday, I felt so relaxed most of the day, I did do some more stuff outside and it felt good, getting the outside tidied up a bit. Still got to cut the blackberries back, and finish the garden under the sunroof window. 

Planning on going to the pool tomorrow, and do some aqua jogging.... and seeing as they got rid of the spa pools in the big revamp, might come home and soak in the thermal pool, the pool is warm and used to love going to the spa pool afterwards, people are pissed they have gone.

About to jump in the pool, the cold water hose is on to cool it down...... so in about 10 minutes I will be in there :). Then will have a nice shower and maybe do some gaming after I do the bit of housework :). 

Well the pool was bliss... ignore the mucky toenail lol.

Found my togs for the public pool tomorrow, I wear my old togs in the thermal pool, dad is off the oncologist tomorrow for a check up, my sister is taking him.

Day 128 - 2025 - Yay it's Wednesday :)

Yay it's Wednesday, well to be honest I don't really care what day it is, all I know is time is going so bloody fast.....

BRB need to get the rubbish bin from the road, they just picked it up.... bbbbrrrrrr it's just a little chilly out there.

One thing I was sad about leaving our last place, was the Tui's that would come on the deck and eat the oranges and the little wax eyes. Well I have heard the odd one here outside by the tree in the driveway, the other day I heard heaps, I then went out to the back courtyard, and there were some in the tree about 2m away high in the tree, so am going to get some oranges this week and put them out and see if they will come closer again :). 

Speaking of things I miss from the last place, is the quietness and just hearing the birds in the bush from the back, here we have a busy road, though I am pretty used to the sounds now.... I miss the kitchen we had, this one is a lot smaller and needs a do up.....

Now onto what I love about this place, well first of all the mature fruit tree's and the garden beds where I don't need to bend over lol. I love the thermal heating, now that I am learning how to use it. I love the sunroom and will love it more once the couple of little leaks are fixed. I love the ensuite, something I never thought I would..... and the huge wardrobe. I love having Steph at the back in her own little unit - well most of the time lol. I love the heated thermal pool. I love that the house is a brick house, a lot less maintenance. 

And thats me for now......

Well I went in the pool and it was bliss, I have included photos, it needs maintenance but that will be done next summer. And ignore the courtyard, needs a good sweep but still working out there a bit, should be finished today and also need to sweep the poolroom. Oh and Sooty is saying hello :)

Fuck it was nice, I need to do it more often, it has a shower in there as well, so not dripping water through the house.

Day 127 - 2025..... What will today bring....

Today's plans are rest my body, it's a bit sore, do have some cuttings that I need to place in the green bag :). 

I am definitely going in the thermal pool later today :). 

I am definitely going to do some gaming, I am on the last chapter in one game and want to finish it today :).

David mowed the lawns yesterday, so looks tidier, we need to do our hedge in the next week or two, and I also need to finish weeding the gardens  :). 

Right thats me for now :)

Well weeds are in green bag, tidying up the sunroom which has become a bit of a place to put everything there, cause not sure where else to put it kinda room. So about half way through doing that :).

Am loving these days, where its cooler but the sky is blue, this weekend at the racecourse, there is a race day and kids day free entry etc.... we live right behind the racecourse, so only need to walk 5 houses down approx and through the gate :). So Steph is taking Isaac for the bouncy castle etc..... might go as well :) 

Well sunroom done, washing dry, just need to fold and put away.... been gaming a bit and on to the last boss fight :).

Steak out for dinner, not sure what we will have with it yet.....

Day 126 - 2025 - Outside work....

Feel like I am getting on top of things again, well hopefully after this week. 

Am currently watching Indycar, when that is finished, then when the rest of the world is awake, I am going to mow the lawns, and do the veggie gardens. I have a few jobs for outside that I want to get done but the goal today is mowing the lawns and the boxed gardens, so can plant some more stuff in there. Well actually I can't as I have to wait for dad to come on for our daily video chat, then I can start.....

Next week I will start back at the gym/pool, I have been lazy simple as.... hell I might even surprise myself and go later in the week, when it rains again. 

Yesterday at dad's went ok, we did his groceries, but he looked terrible, not sure if he has a bug or what. He has another oncologist appointment on Thursday.   

I also hope to have a dip in the thermal pool, now it is getting rather chilly :)

Well I am back later admittedly not much later lol. 

I wish I had taken a before photo, but the garden boxes are done, over the next few days need to mix in some compost etc.... Indycar had finished and knew dad wouldn't be online for at least another 60 min at least, so decided to do them this morning.... OMG even with gloves my hands were freezing....

After talking to Dad, I will mow the lawns, look at that beautiful blue sky..... Oh and the hedge needs trimming :)

Oh and the fence is getting redone and changing it slightly... want to also put a patio area in this area, this area comes of our lounge, so we will have a aptio area out the front and back :)

Well outdoor back patio done, cleaning cupboard done, David said he will do the lawns..... I am now showered and about to have some lunch and I think that will be me for the day, am going to veg for the rest of the day, knee is sore (where I need a TKR), and wrist is a bit tender but am happy with the progress. 

Day 125 - 2025.... Visiting Dad...

Whoops never got back yesterday, nothing happened I don't think....

Today we are off to see dad, and do his groceries etc.....

Our fruit supply is nearly over, I am taking him a small amount of feijoas, our tomatoes are finished.... and got 3 pears for him. We are going to plant a Mandarin tree for next year, well hopefully we will get 1 or 2 fruits lol.

The dutch market yesterday was nice, quite busy, got my favourite fruits lol. 

Thats it from me, prob wont be back today but who know's I might surprise you lol.  

Day 123 - 2025..... Dutch Market...

Today we are going to the Dutch Market here in Rotorua, it happens about every 2 - 3 months, I missed the last two. Well am meeting David there, he is working and the marathon is happening, so lots of streets blocked, we only live down the road from it now :). 

After vacuuming yesterday, I spent the rest of the day gaming, well not quite all the day but some of it :).

Anyway back later :) 

Day 122 - 2025 - Busy morning.....

 Today I have been a busy bee, changed the sheets, done the bathrooms etc..... and general tidy up, and its only 8.30am :) - oh still got the vacuuming to do soon :)

Now not much else to do, except fold the two loads of washing I am doing....

And it was a rather cold night last night and loved it.... the next few mornings, are also suppose to be chilly, might even be cold enough to have a dip in the thermal plunge pool :).

Day 121 - 2025 - Today is a rest day.....

I am doing nothing today, everything hurts... thank god that big job is over...

Oh and guess what it is raining and muggy again.....

Washing is on, and vacuuming will be done later and thats it :).

Oh and lost 200grams this month, its going down and for now thats all I am asking....

Well that day didn't go as planned, I talk to Dad every day on Skype, but Skype is closing down in a few days, I said to dad on Sunday I would set up Teams when I see him. Teams is now the old Skype but no he wanted it done today, so for 2 1/2 hours I was on the phone/skype trying to help him set it up, it would have taken me only 10 minutes on Sunday gggggrrrr. But anyway all done now I think.... but boy did I have a massive headache afterwards. Well I hope so.....
