Day 31 - 2025....

 Have no idea, what to write about day, except we had a power cut in the hotest time of the day, it was huge all of Rotorua and the outskirts, ours was out for just over 2 hours, Isaac was here so enjoyed some icecream lol. One thing I hate about power cuts is resetting the clocks, yip first world problems I know lol.

My friend came today and picked up a bucket load of plums and some blackberries. This weekend we are going to dads so will take some there as well. 

We have bloody pumpkins growing out of everywhere, in the garden, in the vegie boxes and lots of other places and man they grow quick and get out of control so easy. 

Friday today and the last day of the month, February is a busy time of the month, we have 4 birthdays including mine.

Dads cancer is spreading again now, going to see if he can have another bout of radiation, to hopefully slow it down.....

Day 30 - 2025.....

Isaac stayed again last night, I will drop him of at kindy and mummy will pick him up. 

We, well David picked most of the plums of the tree high up, (nearly 2 1/2 buckets), as they were all just starting to fall or get eaten by the birds. Most of these will be given away. He also did the blackberries (Yes he picked quite a few with red). And another huge cucumber the photo does not show its size, we have another big one ready and think there are a couple of smaller ones and then thats it. 

I must admit I am looking forward to today, David has gone back to the office to work (they had them revamped), and after dropping Isaac of at kindy, will have the whole day to myself. 

We have about 100 pears getting ripe, and our lemons are starting to grow. 

Not that easy to see in the photos.....

Day 29 - 2025.......

 Feeling drained today, last night Isaac stayed, and all going to plan he will stay tonight, I will pick him up from kindy today and he wants a bath with another Lush bath bomb. I will drop him of at kindy tomorrow and Steph will pick him up. Steph has new anti nausea meds and they are working amazing, she is feeling so much better thank god, pregnancies don't agree with her. 

David goes back into the office to work tomorrow, yay lol. So am looking forward to everything getting back to normal again. 

God can't believe January is nearly over, WTF why does time go so fast.

Anyway am signing off nothing else is going to happen today....

Day 28 - 2025....

 Whoohoo am on a roll, 28 straight days in a row of posting....

Cousin and partner have gone back to Auckland, and fly to the South Island tomorrow morning, they are going tramping and tenting for 11 days and then back to Holland on the 14th Feb. Sent them home to his sisters place with plums and blackberries and a cucumber. 

Tomorrow I need to pick the rest of the plums, have a friend coming around later this week to pick some up and blackberries.

Now the visitors have gone, I need to get back on learning shopify. Just waiting for the sheets to dry and will make Isaacs bed back up and he can have his room back lol. He will be happy, he missed his room and his toys.

Day 27 - 2025.....

 Last night we ended up going to 'Black label Barbecue' its been open in Rotorua for a year here, bloody hell it was nice. First time we had been there, been meaning to go for a while - and will be back again. They won the New Zealand cooking BBQ show, 'Cooks on Fire'

I thought my cousin and partner were going back to Auckland today but it is tomorrow. Today they are climbing 'Mt Tarawera' today, better them than me lol. At least it is a nice day for it.

Day 26 - 2025.....

Today is wet and miserable, but my cousin and her partner have still gone out and about doing all the touristy things. It is his birthday today, so we are going out to dinner tonight somewhere in "Eat Street". We had so much wind and rain overnight. 

Then tomorrow they head back to Auckland to fly down the South Island for a couple of weeks. It actually has been nice having family here, We talked a lot about family etc...... 

Tomorrow will be fruit picking so they can take some blackberries and plums etc back to Auckland for the people they are staying with. Tomorrow is suppose to be a nice day so thats good. We have a public holiday Auckland Anniversary so a day off for us. 

Anyway going to sign off before I forget to post, doing so well have not missed a day this year lol

Day 25 - 2025....

Well my cousins are not arriving till about 5pm, and tomorrow it is going to rain all day, and Monday they go back to Auckland and then to the South Island for a bit, then back to Holland. 

OMG I nearly didn't get this post in, Dutchies are here and all is going well :).

Day 24 - 2025....

Its going to be another hot day, most of the housework done, just need to mop the floors, tomorrow my cousin arrives for a couple of days, I met her briefly when I went to Holland about 45 years ago. I don't do people at the best of times, yet people I don't know lol.

Floors mopped, need to pick blackberries but just can't be bothered. Time to donate some to the food banks I think. 

Still trying to set my shopify up, think I will follow a youtube, trying to do it myself is taking so long, if I watch a video, I would have completed it by now lol. I have set myself some goals for the craft business......

Have ordered pizza for lunch, just because lol

Day 23 - 2025......

 Well another day..... went and got groceries this morning, and picked up a couple of click n collect orders.

Today is hot and having one of those meh days, on Saturday my cousin and her partner from Holland, arrive for a couple of days...... 

Oh my toe is still hanging in there well the toe nail I mean but it is well bandaged up as it has been bleeding, its still a lot sore.....

Anyway short and sweet just feeling blah today

Day 22 - 2025....

 Well today I picked some more fruit, I do it most days, here is todays finds....

Also here is a photo of the desk in the sunroom, for my craft stuff.... still need to fiddle a bit with it.... and the desk in the craft area..... The desk in the sunroom has all the heat machines on it. The other desk has laptop and two printers, a normal one and sublimation one. I really want a A3 sublimation printer - one day. 

Made dinner already, macaroni and mince dish, my mum used to make it all the time, for the twins when they were young, Isaac is going through a I hate everything except for nuggets stage, he loved this when I made it before, so am hoping he likes it again. Time will tell.....

Day 21 - 2025......

Grrrrrr I am getting frustrated at trying to do the behind the scenes with the craft and nails business, think I might take a break for a day or two lol. 

My second desk is suppose to be arriving in the next hour, well 45 minutes so that will distract me for a bit, going to use the electric drill this time, so wont take me two hours, or hurt my wrists. 

Had a lovely night with Isaac..... after dropping off Isaac at kindy, I got home and 10 min later had a flat tyre...... and I mean flat whoops..... space saver on now.

Well much later, the desk arrived late.... but all put together now and will sort the rest tomorrow only took me about 30 minutes with the electric drill rather than 2 hours for the last one, with a hand screwdriver. Will show you tomorrow what is going on there, well in theory but that could change lol. 

Thats me for now, feeling a bit out of sorts today....

Day 20 - 2025.....

 Last night I made a mince and bacon pie and a blackberry pie, we have so many blackberries, so time to start giving them away. When I was making the blackberry pie I thought the recipe had to much flour in it, so did half, should have listened to the recipe as it was runny but still tasted nice.   

They don't look the best but they tasted bloody yumm, and also have enough for Steph and Isaac and enough for tonight :)

Today have been spending time with Isaac, he is staying the night - has not stayed since before Christmas, he has been out of sorts and only wanted mummy. He has kindy tomorrow :), but he seems back to his old self today :)

Anyway thats me for now, catch you all tomorrow, time to read some stories and get him ready for bed, well he just spent an hour in the bath and is now eating dinner :). 

Day 19 - 2025...

Yesterday I did all computer work for the nails and craft business....

We also moved Davids desk into the bedroom, as he is working from home for 2 weeks, while they revamp the offices. This way he can shut the door, but still has a ranch slider onto the court yard from the bedroom :). I don't really like a desk in there (it was in the lounge), but it has opened up the lounge heaps.... so now thinking it can stay there, I don't see a bedroom as a sanctuary..... if I had not taken up the rest of the house with craft/nail stuff he only has the bedroom left lol. And you can't see the desk when looking in lol. 

First photo is lounge (well part off), the desk was in the corner, we used to have the dinning room table in the sunroom (2nd photo), but moved it into the lounge as the lounge is pretty big. The second photo, the sunroom will get another 2m desk in there for crafts (still to come). the fence in the background, is covered in passionfruit vine and it is so much more on the other side of the fence. 

The third photo is our boxes in the garden, the cucumber is only one plant and its has taken it over....... there is a small passionfruit vine in there as well,  the other box has a tomato plant in it, that popped out of no where, and some lettuces which have now gone to seed, we had far to many. 

We also moved the courtyard around a bit, to allow for David to use the ranch slider in the bedroom. Still not sure if I like it yet.... might play some more. 

The first photo is the blackberries, well a tenth of what we have, over the fence we have so many more. Second Photo, the room is where our laundry is, and thermal plunge pool is next to it (cant see it)

The third Photo we moved the couch to there....

So there you have it........ will put this up now, and not sure if I will be back today, am going to make the blackberry pie for tonight, after I pick some more. 

Day 18 - 2025.....

Well today I have spent all day on the laptop doing all the behind the scenes stuff on my nail business and my craft business ready for reopening in a month or so...

I am rebranding the nails and the craft stuff well never really took off.....

So thats what my day has consisted off........ and it will prob consist of that for the rest of the day/night :)

Day 17 - 2025.....

Today is ummmm a not much day, housework, changing sheets etc etc

Today I got some fruit and a cucumber here it is, not to bad for a days harvest..... tomorrow I will make a blackberry pie I think..... there is about 5 cups there, doesn't look that many in the photo. We get about that much every day at the moment. 

David is mowing the lawns, he took today off as well, so to have a long weekend.

I have been doing some furniture rearranging, I need another big table in the sunroom for my craft stuff...... not sure if I like it yet but we will see......

I am going to do a huge rebrand with my nails, I have been watching heaps of small businesses, and getting motivated again..... will still be a couple of months before I get myself organised but nice to have that passion coming back.

Day 16 - 2025.....

Today is Davids birthday, and we went to Hamilton, bloody major roadworks were happening, but we weren't in a hurry :)

We went to 'Zenders' for lunch, I had Frikadellen with Fries, David had a steak Sandwich, plus that cake/custard square thingee, and we had some bitterballallen. It was yummmmmmmm

We are now home, and had Davids birthday cake with Steph and Isaac, and just relaxing for the rest of the day, forgot to take a photo of the cake it was from The Cheesecake Shop......  'STRAWBERRY FIELDS TORTE' We sent half of what was left over with Steph, and the rest here, it was bloody yummy......

Day 15 - 2025

Whoops nearly forgot to post today - today is our Wedding Anniversary - 14 years ago today, we both forgot till later in the day.

Today consisted of doing my nails, making a mug for hubby for his birthday tomorrow, its from Isaac. I put a photo of him and David on it.....

Tomorrow we are off to Hamilton for a few hours - David has a couple of days off, so goes back to work on Monday.

I know I have more to say but cant think what :)

So its nice and short today lol

Day 14 - 2025.....

Another day, and WTF we are half way through January already, I have just been to the supermarket and picked up a few bits n bobs, and then went to Noel Lemming's and picked up Davids birthday pressie. 

Isaac started back at kindy for the new year this morning, he goes 6 hours a day, 3 days a week. So that will be nice for Steph. 

Nothing really on the agenda today, except go through my cricut stock and organise it, since the move it has just been shoved in a book shelf. and I need to order some stock so need to know what I have and what I need. 

Well that is done, all stock organised......

Isaac had a good day back at kindy, so thats good....

My cousin and her partner from Holland, will be here for a 3 days next weekend, they are also staying at my sisters for 3 days, then they fly to the South Island for a bit before flying back to Holland mid Feb.

Day 13 - 2025.....

Am feeling a little better today, (prob cause David has gone to work)......

Today I organised my craft/cricut table to how it will work properly, I made a mousepad and it was so much easier having all that extra room, though it prob doesn't look it lol. .

In the second photo, the place at the back is Stephs unit..... with all the passionfruit - and at the end of the desk I have it set up for colouring, It is all in the green trolley so can just wheel it out when I need it. Its been months since I have used the cricut properly apart from a few Christmas pressies I made as I packed most of it away when we were selling the old house. 

My next big purchase will be a new iMac Computer in blue of course lol - but that wont be happening for a while, my laptop is nearing the end, has hardly any room left on it.

Day 12 - 2025.....

 Today, I have nothing to say, not much has happened, am feeling a bit down - day started of well, then hubby and I got into an argument and now I feel like crap.

I am going to pick some plums in the minute..... here are the plums, I only picked about 15, they are now in the fridge getting cold, they are huge and I love them really crispy...... there are still many more on the tree.... I hate really soft ripe plums :)

I also picked a few blackberries, Steph picked about 3 times more this morning, they are also in the fridge cooling down. There are literally hundreds of blackberries on the vine. 

So thats about it for my day, did some housework this morning, might do some gaming soon to try and relax.....

Day 11 - 2025

 My toe has been bloody sore, but the nail is starting to lift a bit, so some of the pressure is off, thank god, still cant wear any shoes, but am ok about that for now. 

On Thursday it is Davids birthday, we are planning a day at Hamilton, and will go to "Zenders Cafe" for lunch. its a dutch cafe. We will also go to the dutch shop as well. So hoping my toe will be feeling much better by then. 

Today I picked another cucumber, and then turned ready to leave and out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a lovely big one, god know's where it came from, had never noticed it before. But Steph is the lucky one to receive it, I am going to leave them now till they all grow that big I think lol. The photo does not really show its true size. There area bout another 6 or so cucumbers on the way :). 

Just started to rain, yay even though it is not warm, it is muggy, this will help clear that up. 

Anyway thats me for now, currently watching Coronation Street, we are over 2 months behind, with moving, Christmas etc..... we got so far behind :)

Day 10 - 2025....

Today is a bit of a clean up house today, vacuum, clean bathrooms, change sheets etc.......

This is my desk, it is 2m long, and once it is properly organised it will be brilliant :). My big heat press is still in the sunroom, where it will stay :). Today I am hoping to sublimates my mouse pad, which for now is plain white. The heat press is so heavy and the mug press is as well, so that will stay on the desk, as it is a lot smaller. 

Now if you are not into toes, don't look at the next photo this is my big toe, I dropped the desk top on yesterday, and its still so bloody sore. 

Todays plans just have a bit of a down day once I have done the housework.

Now just going to relax for a bit....

Day 9 - 2025...

Well another day here, and man I found some massive bruising on my arm, from yesterday's fall whoops......

The good news, is I think my desk is arriving today, excited :)

My dress and top arrived yesterday, the dress is amazing :)

Desk arrived, all put together, but dropped the bloody table top part on my big toe, now it is nicely bruised and more than likely I will lose the nail....... fuck Im clumsy, but finally got the desk all up......

Now I am f**cked....

Oh got another huge cucumber out of the garden, I am actually enjoying the garden, never thought I would.

Day 8 - 2025...

I need to get some better shoes for when I go out in the garden, today I tripped over my jandal and fell into the bark, I am ok, but my wrist is a little tender..... its not the first time it happened with these shoes, will I ever learn, probably not lol.

The little puppies have gone to the groomers, prob need to pick them up about 9ish.....

Issac didn't stay last night, after his bath he wanted to go home, little bugga, I am sure he planned it that way, do the fun things then wanted to go home.

Sooty (our rescue puppy) is now 9 years old..... we got her when she was 4 years old. 

Isaac is here, being a busy 3 1/2 year old......, well he has gone home now...

Have a splint on my wrist, it is the one that had major tendon reconstruction surgery, so still have all my splints from then.....

Day 7 - 2025

Well what does today bring, Chris and his Girlfriend go home today, they are stopping by dads, on the way home. 

Today is washing sheets etc and getting the bed ready again for Isaac..... who we are hoping will stay the night, but he is sick so not sure yet, usually when he is sick, mummy is the only one he wants. 

Its going to be nice and warm today, unlike the last couple of days, which have felt like winter.

Well much later from when I started this, Isaac (grandson), came and spent a couple of hours here, we made biscuits and then he had a bubblebath with a lush candy cane, then decided he wanted to go home, he just doesnt want to leave his mum to long right now. 

Biscuits we made, this lot went home with him.....

Then the bath :)

Enjoying the bath which was pink from the candy cane, we only used half of it. 

And thats me for the day, homemade butter chicken for dinner for us :)

Day 6 - 2025...

This morning, I grabbed our 3rd cucumber and another two are nearly ready - yip riveting stuff.....

The day has been busy, spending time with my son and girlfriend, and Steph and Isaac. 

We had homemade hamburgers again for dinner, using our own lettuce and cucumbers. Tomatoes seem to be late this year.....

Am hoping Isaac will stay tomorrow night, he is going through the stage of just wanting mummy, on Wednesday the puppies are having their 6 weekly groom.  

Tonight I am doing my face-time video with my cousin, who is coming to visit NZ in a couple of weeks, they are spending a couple of nights here in Rotorua, and a couple of nights with my sister in Tauranga. I think we will be talking about what they want to do etc......

Day 5 - 2025

Bet you thought I wasn't going to post, well I am here lol

Yesterday I made a peach and blackberry pie, it was very yummm...... I cheated with the pastry though and purchased it. May not look the best but it tasted bloody nice, we also had home made hamburgers for dinner and tried our first cucumber, which was also very nice. 

Davids sister and brother in law have just visited and this afternoon my son Chris and his girlfriend are coming for a couple of days.

David goes back to work tomorrow, yay - did i really say that lol.

It is bloody cold here today a high off 14 degrees and there is snow flurry on the Desert Road....... never had snow this time of the year there. We are suppose to be in the middle of summer.

God it is bugging me not having my desk, I have no patience and the company is not the quickest shipper lol - I have purchased from them before and took about 2 weeks to dispatch. I purchased a set of draws yesterday and it took me 5 hours to put together a flatpack set of draws yesterday. 

Anyway thats me for today :)

Day 4 - 2025....

Whoohoo Day 4 and am still going, I would love to post everyday this year but can't see that happening lol.

I have started taking 2 antihistamines a day, will see if that helps, picked another cucumber, this one is going to Steph.... we finished getting all the blackcurrants and cut that back so the apple tree gets some more light, and there were a few apples hiding behind the blackcurrants. I am thinking of making a peach and redcurrant pie for dinner tonight.

Day 3 - 2025

Today we had blueberries........ just a couple but hey :)

My allergies are still kicking my butt......

We have a few more cucumbers coming through.....

Blackberries are doing well......

David starts back at work next week.......

Day 2 - 2025

Well Day 2 is here, and boy I am in a shitty mood, my allergies are kicking my butt even with antihistamines..... grrrr. 

Our First Cucumber......

Think tomorrow night we can have homemade hamburgers on the BBQ, hope the cucumber is nice inside - might cut some off later when it is chilled in the fridge. :).

Later today well soon I am going to move my old desk and make room for my new one, which I have no idea when it will arrive am hoping next week. My old one will become my makeup desk as I threw out my last one, it was on its last legs literally. 

Happy Birthday Mum, it has been nearly 20 years (In March), since she passed away, and I still miss her.

Day 1 - 2025

Well welcome to 2025, whats changed from 2024 - thats right nothing...

Did I even see in the new year - nope I was fast asleep, didn't even hear the fireworks..... yip I am a real rebel - Oh I did weigh in, just to see how I go for this year - no set amount, just to weigh less than I do today :)

Weigh ins will be in the side bar..... (When I set it up).

This year well in about 3 weeks, my cousin and her partner from Holland are visiting New Zealand, they are staying with us for 3 days at the end of the month...

For Christmas this year we did Secret Santa for the adults, but David and I did an extra present, he got me I got this..... Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Eau De Parfum Over Red 90ml. I love it.....

I got David some shirts and BBQ stuff - yip real riveting stuff. We had Christmas yesterday here and Isaac throughly enjoyed hid presents. Steph was my Secret Santa and got me Lush stuff, as we have a bath now I can use bubble bars etc.....

Been a while since I been to the gym, am hoping to start again this month....

Have been on a bit of a buying streak with the Boxing Day Sales - I purchased a new bigger desk for my crafting, I purchased a dress and vest from 'Mama Mane' - Hoping they will arrive next week some time :)

I purchased some bath stuff from Lush in their 50% off Christmas sale..... oh another Colouring Book (My relaxation) - BeetleJuice and a Gardening Guide Book (Veges and Fruit Book), as I don't have a bloody clue what I am doing. Oh and a new laptop table thingee, as my one has lost a wheel and the another wheel keeps falling off and is currently held together with sellotape. 

So there you have it thats day 1 of 2025 :)
