Our Little Pool is Up, and the Weather has Turned Cold.....

Well had my first dip in the plunge pool, was rather pleasant, in the winter it will be amazing, and better still it wont cost us hot water :). The pool will need a paint and tiles redone at some stage, but not now.  I also set up the little pool that I used last year as we had a few warm days, and now it is bloody freezing again. But hopefully Isaac and I can get in there next week. 

This is our little outdoor area, just room enough for our couch, table and BBQ. Its so nice and private, ignore the dirty water in the tub, not sure what to do with it, maybe turn it into a water feature......

The white gate is the entrance to the plunge pool, and the building behind the BBQ is our laundry, I was a bit hesitant about having an outdoor laundry but its a whole 10 steps away and all under cover and now I am used to it I love it being out there. 

Our fruit is starting to ripen so come Christmas or early new year we will have Peaches, Plums, Blackberries, Blueberries, Pears, we have Strawberries, and then we will have Passionfruit and Feijoas.

This lady who owned the place was an avid gardener, I am not, I planted  cucumber plants in our vege boxes, two have been munched on and we have 1 scraggly one left, I am not a gardener lol, the lettuce and tomato plants are doing well though :) 

Anyway thats me for now, was meant to do this post at the beginning of the week.

Well we are finally settling in.......

We have been in our place 3 weeks yesterday, and finally we are starting to feel like it is home......, Nearly everything has been unpacked, except a few things which we are in no hurry to do. Pictures are up, kitchen cupboards are organised now, to what works, pantry is pretty much sorted. Christmas Tree is even up, though am hoping next year to get one double the size, as our ceilings are so high, it looks so tiny, but for this year it will do. I will defiantly get one that is pre-lit, Also my nail room and cricut/craft area is also all done now. 

I have yet to go in the plunge pool, but just not feeling it, but today I will be, I now have the time and yesterday Steph and I worked out how to cool it down as it was so hot, her and Isaac went in it yesterday and they loved it. It has a cold hose attached to it. 

Yesterday worked on some gardens and found heaps of strawberry plants yay, we are also got little apples and pears on our trees now, they look so cute, the blueberries are doing well :). 

I planted some tomato plants, some Lettuce and some Cucumber which have sadly been eaten, but the tomatoes and lettuces are looking good. 

Isaac is settling in as well..... Dogs are happy as......

I will take some photo's soon of the place, maybe next post which hopefully wont be to far away lol. 

Anyway thats it for me now - boring I know but looking forward to some downtime now before Christmas :)
