Time is going so slow......

Well 5 more nights in this place and then we move, time is going so slow, yet so fast.... I have draws and cupboards to clean but basically packing is all done, on Monday we do the final walkthrough to check everything, we were going to hire removers to move us, but now Davids brother in law and brother are helping and we are renting a truck for 48 hours, we also want to get most if not all of the storage unit done as well, that will just go in the garage for now. David has next week off and goes back to work after Labour Weekend. 

Cant believe we purchased and sold a house all within 3 weeks, am so lucky we found the house we did, it took us just as long to declutter and tidy up the house lol.

We do plan to do some renovating in the house, mainly the kitchen, but that wont be for a while..... and also some painting, but want to live in it for at least a year before we do anything, just to see what works and what needs changing. Who knows this might be our forever home lol. 

Dad is really struggling at the moment, just very tired, not sure if its a side effect from the radiation, or the cancer, or old age or what.... Once we have moved, I will be able to spend more time with him again.... 

Anyway thats it for now, talk soon, prob after we have moved :) 

October already........

Well here we are October already, god knows where this year has gone too.... two weeks tomorrow till we move, bloody hell time is going to slow right now yet so fast after this week, I can say we are moving next week lol. It will be nice to be in before Labour weekend, roll on two weeks lol, some how I don't think I will sleep much the night before. We will start moving in the small stuff first on the 22nd, then we are renting a truck and hope to move the majority on the Wednesday 23rd, and that will be our first official night there, well thats the plan :). 

Dad just did another week of radiation, he is very tired and he has the district nurse out everyday as his Lymph nodes under his arms(where the cancer has spread too), is leaking fluid and bleeding all the time, they are hoping the radiation will reduce the size of the Lymph-nodes and  help with this issue and the pain. 

The house is 80% packed up, I love being organised, and with the huge declutter we basically removed anything personal, so left with a blank canvas, no pictures, nothing personal out, basically just a couch and TV in the lounge, bedrooms basically a bed and draws nothing else, no ornaments, just bare walls, apparently it helps people visualise their furniture and belongings in their house, and it worked as we sold on the first open home :). We will have to take it all out of storage and that  will just go in the garage until I go through box by box, to see if we really need it, or if it is just clutter lol. 

This week I start cleaning, all the kitchen cupboards/draws that are empty, then the bathroom and so on....

Anyway not much to report so thats it, just another quick update :).
